This was my first time thrifting here today, and I was pleasantly pleased.😀 I've driven by here a few times, decided to stop by THIS time. LOL
It's clean, the cashier who checked me out was friendly and funny; right up my alley.
I found some nice pieces at good prices (I racked up on a few HALF OFF pieces), so yeah. And I finally found my DENIM vest, SO THANK YOU!!!

A worker i wish I knew his name but was wearing short dreads and glasses
came and snatched away a toy from my daughter out of her father's hands,and then when my daughter went to get it back (the worker placed on shelf) he told her to leave it alone for no reason it was a simple unicorn why would he snatch it from a kid and her father

The employees are always helpful. They have some items priced well and some that are not worth the price. It’s always worth another look.

my interaction with the cashier was extremely challenging. It took many tries to get an answer to a simple question and when it was finally answered he was totally wrong.

My friend and I got racially profiled and walked out the store under the assumption we were stealing from a Goodwill. Ridiculous experience never in my life have I been interrogated like that. Then had the nerve after he made us check our pockets to say “I’m playing with y’all, cheer up.” Awful experience will never shop here again, and to think this was my favorite Goodwill in town 😂 Goodwill please check your employees this is just sad and wrong.

The employees are always really nice and the store is pretty clean! My only issues are that the prices are somewhat high (I’ve seen used $5 target shirts for sale for $6…) and the racks are a bit overstuffed which makes it difficult to browse.

Although I appreciate what Goodwill does as far as helping get people back to work and so on, I wish they would work more on how they interact with the customers who are actually providing them that opportunity. Every time I drop something g off at this particular location I’m barely greeted with anything. No hello, no nothing. I’m usually the one that takes the items from my car and once handed to the employee, it gets thrown in to a box outside. Some of the items I’ve decided to donate are actually pretty nice so to see them just thrown is actually discussing to me.
I think in the future my donations might be better received at a local Austin donation center (not Goodwill) where the money received will be distributed locally.
