I had a zipper replaced in an old winter jacket, and it seems to have been well done. The service was friendly and helpful, and she even stayed open a few minutes late one day when I called and said I would arrive shortly after closing time. I appreciated that!

I have been to Couture Touch many times and have been wonderfully pleased with the work each and every time. The many dresses I've had worked on have not exactly been simple alterations either; they are more than capable to finish difficult pieces beautifully. I have and will continue to recommeded friends to this place!

I saw an ad in the local community newspaper about this business so I decided to stop by. I have a number of things to be tailored but I started with 3 pairs of pants (2 slacks, 1 pair of jeans) to only have the hem taken up. The jeans I was pleased upon first inspection because they matched the thread perfectly with the seams (yellow thread). Unfortunately, the pair of slacks that I also dropped off with them at the same time, they used the same yellow thread as the jeans! I didn't realize this until I got it home. Grey slacks with grey thread but yellow on the hem really irks me! Upon even closer inspection, the sewing on the hems are sloppy in the sense that they aren't in a straight line and there is some overlap with the loops. I really wanted to like them and support local businesses, but I find paying for that level of detail unacceptable. My other pair of slacks that I dropped off to them were fine, so their work is inconsistent. I decided to hold off on my more complex tailoring jobs until I find someone else. Oh they charge 9 dollars to hem a pair of slacks.
