If you want a bank that's going to abruptly close your accounts with no reason then bank with them to be treated poorly. Keep your bigger banks! The manager at this location is completely incompetent.

We used to bank with a big national bank and we got tired of getting treated like “just another person… a number… a person for them to take advantage of.” After reading about big bank bad behavior over and over in the news, we knew it was time for a change even though we know transferring to a new bank is a bit of a hassle. We had all our autopays set up and were not looking forward to the tedious task of changing everything over. Let me tell you, that small period of headache was worth every second now that we are treated like real CLIENTS at Citizens Bank. They call to check on us periodically & if we accidentally overdraft they call first to see if we meant to do it and give us an opportunity to fix the issue rather than just slapping us with a fine. These guys are a good ol fashion community bank where the tellers want to know about you, your family, etc. We actually formed relationships with the Citizens employees and look forward to our interactions with them. When we have a specific need like raising a deposit limit or inquiring about specific needs related to their online app, our personal bank representative, Jonathan, is quick to reply and solve our problems. They don’t treat you like a big bank would— they are nimble on their feet so can make experiences personal and they can make adjustments to your account to ensure your specific banking needs are met. We appreciate the way this bank makes us feel like royalty though we are just average joes.

I cannot say enough good things about Jonathan, and Citizen’s National Bank, and how they’ve treated our Church. Jonathan is attentive to our needs, quick to respond to our requests, a real problem solver, and he has helped us complete several projects. I highly recommend Citizen’s National Bank, and their expert leadership team.

Disappointed. I drove from South Austin first thing this morning to try to open a checking account for my incarcerated uncle who received a Stimulus check with no way to cash it. When I walked into the office I was greeted by friendly tellers. I let them know that I had called ahead after speaking to a representative over the phone about opening a Power of Attorney account and Lisa Ellisor, the VP/Bank Manager called me into her office. I explained to her the situation the same way I had to the rep the previous day and I could immediately sense her disdain. She told me that she wasn't going to open the account for me, even though I had a power of attorney which by law should allow this type of transaction. She told me I needed to have the power of attorney filed by the state. This may be a formality but it came across as more of an excuse to not open the account. I asked her if she wouldn't mind reaching out to the compliance officer because the original rep I had spoken to let me know she had went through the bank's compliance officer, Rhonda to make sure there wouldn't be an issue. This request upset her, she rolled her eyes and explained to me that she wasn't going to open the account no matter what and that she had been working there for 14 years while the rep I had spoken to had only been there for one year and didn't know what she was doing. After she spoke to the compliance officer she told me she still wouldn't open the account unless it was filed. Which I expected at that point because she was already upset. Even though I couldn't have been in her office more than 10 minutes and I just wanted to be sure since I had just driven 40 minutes that morning to meet with her. I asked her before I left if I could come back when If I was able to get the PoA filed and she told me I probably wouldn't be able to get it filed because it would have to be in the same county the power of attorney was filled out at and to try Woodforest bank inside of Wal-Mart since their standards are lower apparently. I really wanted this to run smoothly. Due to the nature of the situation It's really daunting to have to put yourself at the mercy of each individuals/businesses prejudices. I felt judged and rejected. I was hopeful because when I spoke to the original rep, she was very friendly and made it seem like the bank would be more than willing to help out and I could tell she sympathized with the situation and the extra work it takes to go through this process. I really hope that Lisa in no way tries to retaliate against this rep (I wouldn't put it past her) because she did a good job listening to my situation and represented the brand in a really good light. I think I just got unlucky this morning meeting Lisa Ellisor. Also, for anyone else in the company or banking industry who reads this, the documents I presented were as listed; Original Notarized Statutory Durable Power of Attorney, photo copy of Prison Identification (with picture), a receipt for drivers license renewal from State of Texas, all of my uncle's information such as SSN, D.O.B, etc, and my own identification. My intention was to open a checking/savings account for my uncle in his name and with myself as power of attorney to utilize his stimulus money to go towards his legal troubles. One more thing worth noting, no one was wearing a mask and I write this as the COVID delta variant is rampant. I wasn't concerned for myself as I'm vaccinated but this bank doesn't seem to have updated protocol that is consistent with the latest CDC guidelines. Something to keep in mind.

This bank has the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever come across. Clarissa, Carol, and Alexa are always smiling and the most attentive tellers. Couldn't ask for a better personal banker than Susan. Jonathan and Lisa run a wonderful bank.

We love CNB! Friendly bank with great offerings and rates, knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service. We enjoy the hometown environment where the bank president will come out to greet and chat with you. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend CNB for both business and personal banking. CNB exemplifies the positives of banking with a smaller, community bank. I had always banked with big, national banks and didn't realize the level of service I could get at CNB. The entire staff is friendly and will get to know you by name. How cool to be able to call the branch president, Jonathan, and get him on his direct line, or even show up unexpectedly in person and have him available to help with whatever projects I have going on. Susan, the account rep, is super responsive both via phone and via email and helps with any issues that I have come up. Even better, they have both an online banking system and a new app with remote deposits for checks, so you get the perks of bigger bank technology PLUS the service of a community bank.

I have been banking with Citizens National Bank for going on 3 years now. I was introduced to them by a friend when we were applying for a business loan at the Pflugerville branch. I was amazed by the level of personal touch we received from everyone we came into contact with.

I’ve been a member of this bank for nearly 8 years. Every time I go in there the entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. One employee stands out to me, Brad Hickman. He is an outstanding employee! Consistently going above and beyond what is asked of him. Thank you Brad and thank you CitNash for always being helpful!! Y’all all deserve a raise!!!!

A bank is just a building until you put people in it. This bank, especially this branch is exceptional because of the competent, wonderful people who work here. Many businesses say they're "family" but this one truly feels like it.

The best bank that I have ever had for my money! Absolutely every person in this bank is extremely helpful and I never have to wait or have an appointment to see personnel. I'm glad that I chose this bank over the rest.
