Update: It looks like after I posted my very negative review, SOMEONE asked others to review and somehow give glowing reports about the manager in particular, after no reviews have been made in a year before mine. Suspicious much? Also, have yet to hear from CORPORATE or the district manager.If I could give it no stars, I would. Please do not give your hard earned money to this store in Pearsall, TX! My family and I went a few days ago to purchase something. We encountered, from the get go, the sticker on the shelf was incorrect, staff that was not knowledgable about how much the military discount was and an extremely rude and abrasive manager, who ended up calling the cops on me! After we were ready to check out, I noticed one of the employees was typing in info from our military ID into their computer. When I asked, they said they were taking our name and ID number down. We said we thought that information should not be stored, and proceeded to try and research on our phones. We offered for them to take our Driver's license number instead. I asked to speak to the manager and when he came out and immediately was being condescending, overbearing, not willing to listen. All he kept saying was "corporate" says they need the info and we can't get the discount without them entering the info in their system. I asked to speak to corporate and was given the number. ( I have yet to be able to speak to a knowledgeable person at corporate as they haven't returned my calls.) At one point, I walked out the store and then returned because I wanted to show the manager something I found on my phone from the military One Source website. He was still being a bit loud and threatening, abrasive and rude. I asked him to "tone it down". ( He was twice my size and I am a woman). At that instant, he immediately started SHOUTING, "Get out of my store"! I told him "why, I hadn't done anything wrong." He proceeded to shout "get out of my store, I'm not going to sell you anything." He told his staff to not sell me anything and then told me he was going to call the cops because I was trespassing. Well, wouldn't you know, he kept his word. After the officer arrived, I was told that the moment I was asked to leave I should have. I was stunned, to say the least. Parker has a sign in their store touting how great their customer service is...I have yet to see it. I will never return to this store unless they hire better staff with Excellent Customer Service. By the way, we went down the street to Ace hardware and bought the item we needed there.

I am a local and love going to Parker lumber for my needs. The manager took his time out of his day to help assist me and also got me the best prices for my items.Never had any issues with these lovely people.

Parker lumber employees and manager always do their best to get what you need.I’ve never had a problem going there.The manager always makes sure to help out wherever is needed and gets the job done. ❤️

Awesome Home Town Store. Staff are very Polite, knowledgeable and Professional.
