I agree with all the negative reviews about this pharmacy. Nothing but broken promises and incompetence. Don't waste your time here. Go elsewhere.

I called Walgreens on Shadow Creek Parkway at 9:30 pm. I wanted to make sure they had my son's prescription before I drove over there. As I waited on hold, I decided to drive to the pharmacy.Someone kept picking up the phone (once it rang through) and placing me on hold. I arrived to the drive-thru at 9:45 pm. There was a white SUV in front of me in the line. They were arguing with whomever was at the window about their medication. At this time someone finally answered my call. I told the gentleman that answered that I was currently waiting in line, so it's no need to talk to him now.The argument didn't end, so at 9:55 pm, someone closed the shades. The car in front of me drove off after sitting there for one or two minutes. I got to the window and pressed the call button and no one responded even though you could see that they were still in there. I eventually drove around to the front of the store. An employee in the pharmacy was about to walk out until she saw me at the door. She walked back into the store, so I wouldn't see her.I was kept on hold for over 15 minutes, you all closed before 10:00 pm, and you did not service me (even though I was in line PRIOR to 10:00 pm) because you all were arguing with the customer in front of me. I needed to pick up my son's prescription. You all have the WORST customer service!

Unpleasant Experience with Pharmacist named SANDY - Lack of Empathy, Service and ProfessionalismI am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by pharmacist Sandy during a recent visit to your pharmacy at Walgreens at 11633 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Pearland, TX, 77584. My experience has compelled me to bring to your attention the concerning behavior and lack of professionalism exhibited by this individual. On 01/25/2024, While returning from "ER", I visited the pharmacy with my 7-month-old baby, to pick up a prescription for my baby. Unfortunately, despite the urgency and vulnerability of the situation, pharmacist Sandy not only refused to attend to my baby but displayed a shocking lack of empathy throughout the encounter.Sandy's refusal to provide essential services for a 7-month-old baby is not only a blatant violation of ethical standards in healthcare but also raises serious doubts about her suitability for a role in such a critical field. The situation was made worse by the complete absence of remorse or acknowledgment of the distress caused, leaving me deeply troubled by the lack of compassion displayed. In a healthcare setting, empathy and a commitment to patient welfare are non-negotiable qualities. It is disheartening to witness a healthcare professional, such as Sandy, who appears to lack a fundamental understanding of the importance of compassionate care, especially when dealing with vulnerable patients.Sandy asked me to wait for 30 minutes to get the medicine ready, I waited for 50 minutes, while waiting my baby had discomfort and was crying but Sandy refused to attend to my baby, there were no other customers there, so I walked up to her to ask her politely, what was going on with my prescriptions. I was so shocked by her attitude towards me and my child, asking me to call the insurance company after about 55mins of waiting with a sick baby, I asked her why she kept us so long without telling me anything, and the next thing she did was to throw the prescription paper on the countertop for me and she walked away from us.Given the gravity of this incident, I strongly urge a thorough investigation into Sandy's conduct and an assessment of her suitability to continue working in the healthcare system. Instances of refusing care to a baby and lacking empathy should be taken seriously, as they not only tarnish the reputation of your establishment but also pose a potential risk to the well-being of patients.I hope that appropriate action is taken to address this matter promptly and that steps are implemented to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. The healthcare system should be staffed by individuals who prioritize patient care and well-being above all else. What was particularly distressing was the complete lack of remorse or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. Sandy's attitude was dismissive, and I was left feeling frustrated and unsupported as a customer seeking essential services for my child's well-being.I believe that a healthcare professional, especially one working in a pharmacy, should prioritize the welfare of customers, especially when it involves the health of a young child. This experience has left me questioning the standards of customer care and empathy at Walgreens.I hope that this feedback prompts a review of your customer service practices and an improvement in the training provided to your staff. No customer, especially one seeking assistance for their child, should leave a pharmacy feeling unheard and neglected.

Sandra didn’t run my insurance properly . Was told by her I need to call my insurance only to find out she was putting the numbers in wrong. Called several times and was over charged for my medication. Was told I had to come back to the store with my receipt. When I did Sandra said I needed to come inside so a manger could fix it. Decided to go back to the drive thru only to be told the manager Gloria couldn’t do it and I needed to come back. She didn’t care and was very matter of fact, even though this started with her mistake. It’s sad the lack of customer care or willingness to get things right for your customers. Stay away from this place

Half the cashiers have no clue what they are doing. I waited in line for 20 min while 3 people walked out. I come here all the time and maybe today was an off day for them but it was unacceptable.

The lower level reps in the pharmacy department need extensive training when it comes to customer service. It’s like they go out of their way to make your time difficult.

Absolutely TERRIBLE pharmacy location. Techs dont know how to do their job and customer service is virtually non existent. Not to mention, there is always an issue and they will hang up on you!

20+ days to fill a common Rx and unable to get in touch with someone in the pharmacy by phone.Go to Kroger pharmacy or CVS.

The absolute worst Walgreens, avoid this place like the plague. Nearly every time a prescription is called into the pharmacy at this location there's an issue. If you call the store to inquire whether your prescription is available they'll put you on hold, answer the phone and place you hold again, until they eventually hang up on you. This location is absolute trash and it's truly astonishing that having such a dismal reputation for their inept ability to be efficient and fulfill their job duties that this place is still in business.

Pharmacy has the worst customer service I’ve seen and experienced. Delayed service and bad attitude. Phone calls are completely ignored, sometimes for more than 20 minutes and they end up hanging up the call.

Here's a good one. So I called them on Sunday at 3pm was on hold to talk to them for refill. They put me on hold with that stupid music. Every time the music stopped and the phone starts ringing, you think oh good I can finally talk to someone. Nope you hear a faint human voice say something and put you back with that stupid music. Five times that happened. Ok maybe there are a lot of people waiting, they have too good through this too. I hang up call again, go through the same process. This time someone picks up FINALLY!!! no sound but background noise then I hear them dialing something and before I can say anything they hang up the call. No going back to that stupid music just cut the call. Anyway I'm really pissed, and my wife says just go through the website and order. I told her I used it before and that doesn't always work even though it e-mails saying it should be ready the next day. But anyway I needed to refill so we did it that way.Ok so I get up early today (9/25/2023) drive in the drive thru and they said they never got refill since February from my doctor and they need to call them ?! WTH I showed them the e-mail confirmation and they said they don't have any connection with their refill online service. Their own online refill service!!! So don't use their refill service, don't call them for a refill, and don't even give business to these people. And for the people of this Walgreens pharmacy that were working this past Sunday (9/24/2023), either learn how to use a phone or just leave your jobs because you really doing a disservice for all patients that need the medication!
