We have been in the store a few times and Ray has been at the register, he is very rude and unprofessional. I have witnessed him be rude to other staff members and costumers. He would benefit from a costumer service course.

I called to see if they Winter rye grass seed bulk bags a couple days ago. The phone operator was very helpful and said she found a pallet in the back and that someone could go get. We enter the store and as I come up to the cash register person she turns her back and boot scoots away. I watched her out of the corner of my eye and she looked like she was just wandering down an aisle. She didn’t bend down or go help someone. Ok…I’ll try to find someone else. No luck after going through 3/4 of the store. I go back to her up front and she literally is spaced out holding a clear tape dispenser in the air and studying it. I asked about the grass seed.No…no gas seed according to her. Well I talked with someone and they said there was some in the back, I said. Well it is not showing on inventory. ( like she knows the entire inventory with out checking). Can you have someone check, I said. She called management and then turned back to me and said there wasn’t any. I left before I flaked one more word to this person. There might have been a little attitude there or that’s her normal self. Definitely was 0.00 no help and whoever gave this place a high customer service rating should recheck the place and see if they live up to it.And that high customer rating is why I wrote this out!

For some reason this tractor supply is always out of horse feed. Last time 3 people walked out due to no stock. Today 2 of us walked out. I hate driving to Alvin all the time! It's super frustrating when it shows 27 bags in stock but then you get to the store and they have none.
I really wish they got their ordering done better.

I want to personally thank Laura for going above and beyond and helping me with an order. She was the only associate working at the time yet that didn’t hinder her from being proficient and helpful. Thank you again!

Just went in and was told at the register no one to help with propane and they wouldn’t go outside anyway because a light rain that was done in least the 5min

This was my third attempt to get propane.The first time the system was already switched off at 8.30am although it was open until 9am.The second time the system did not work for some inexplicable reason and now on the third attempt there was no licensed employee on site who could operate the system. Absolutely unsatisfactory!

I was helped by an employee name Alyssa she was very helpful when I asked her for help with baby chicks setup .The reason I had to ask her was because there was a lady helping someone with baby chicks as me and my kids where looking and needing help this employee didn’t offer no help just walk off I didn’t catch her name but she didn’t even offer to help me as I was literally right there in front of her she ask another lady if she needed help but not me which was very rude of the employee so that’s when me and my kids went up front to look for help thanks to Alyssa for assisting us and getting the items we needed

I'm usually not one to complain or post negative posts online, but I experienced the absolute worst customer service in my adult life at the Pearland Texas Tractor Supply store. I placed an order at approximately 11am on a Saturday morning for two small items to be delivered using their "Same day" delivery service. They offer same day delivery on most items as long as the order is placed by 2 pm. At around 5pm I had not received my delivery and the order was still showing as being processed online. I called the store to inquire about the status of my order and the woman who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about claiming she "had just got to work" and asked me to hold while she checked with her manager. After a 7 minute hold she came back and said there would be no deliveries from them on Saturday or Sunday because their usual "delivery guy" called out sick for the weekend. Mmmyeah...ok.
She advised she would have a manager call me back. I never received a call back. In fact nobody bothered to call me all day to let me know this order was never going to show up while I waited all day.
Ultimately I decided to drive the 30 minutes to the store to get my items in person but half way there I get a call from someone at another Tractor Supply store saying he is on the way with my order. Apparently the Pearland store realized how badly they dropped the ball and contacted another store to fulfill the order. So I turned around and drove back home to meet the delivery guy and finally got my items.
The ONLY reason I'm giving two stars is because they did attempt to cover up their screw up by having another store deliver my items. I think in the future I will just order from the other store because Pearland has problems. Pearland is more convenient to me but they have really poor customer service. Honestly, I have had other issues here before with customer service. The employees all seem miserable especially on the weekends. They seem to have a mentality of saying "it's not my job"....because it happens every time.
Do better Pearland.
