The best service I have received. After searching all over for service on my transmission, I stumbled across this facility. After reading the reviews, I thought this might be the right place for me. Charles was a true blessing for me and my family. He opened the shop early because he saw me waiting. Checked my vehicle and got me on the road weeks before I could even get into a dealership. I am forever grateful and will always recommend PTM first. Thank you.

Charles Butcher is an awesome guy and does quality work for fair prices.
He will take the time to walk you through what the problems are and what needs to happen in order to successfully perform the repairs.
I will definitely return to this establishment when I need future transmission work done.

That is outstanding customer service, I will definitely be back. This place is awesome, definitely take your car here. Thank you so much again! This is the place to go in Pearland. I drive a 1976 Chevy pickup that was leaking transmission fluid from EVERYWHERE! Not only did Charles find all the leaks, he replaced worn parts and made sure the truck was road ready before giving it back to me. If you want your transmission fixed RIGHT, and NOT RUSHED, this is the place to go. The price was right, and the quality of repair was second to no one in this area. Thank you, Charles!

I had installed a Revmax valve body on my 2009 Dodge Ram 2500. I have a 68RFE transmission that required a relearn for the new valve body. The instructions on the new Valve Body said do not put in gear until the relearn was performed. Consequently, I asked Charles if he could come by my house with his Scan/Computer and do the relearn. He readily said he would drop by later that day. I appreciated his kindness and understanding in coming to my house to do the relearn. He said for me to pass it forward. I still gave him a $20 for his time because although he was 4 miles from my house he took the special effort to help me. Thank you Charles for being helpful and kind!

I had just received a quote from a ford dealership for a new transmission and torque converter for $12k followed by a call from a salesman. Pearland Transmission Man found no such work was needed and all that was required was a new circuit board with the output speed sensor. Saved me from having to buy a new truck and dealing with a sleazy salesman! Amazing place.

Took my 2008 RAV4 as I started to have transmission issues and Mr. Charles did a great job rebuilding it. He gave me a diagnosis and timeline, pricing was reasonable and he delivered as scheduled. He explained what happened and showed me failed parts on the transmission. Car is working great! Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I took my '08 Mustang for a transmission rebuild after comparing prices a reviews of multiple shops. This was the most expensive option, but not by much and had the most and best reviews. The work was done quickly, Charles was professional and my car is running great now. If it's in your budget I do recommend this shop.

This guy is incredible! I went to get a transmission transfer case fixed here after Firestone quoted me over $6,000 to get it replaced. I offered to get the transfer case used so they could put it in, but they said they only buy from dealerships, which is weird that they'd want to put a brand new one in an old 2013 Dodge Durango. This guy just ordered the parts, and put it together himself. He kept me updated every step of the way, which I'm very grateful for as I was on a timeline. I gladly paid a bit over $1400, and as im writing this: I just made it to Indianapolis. When the repair was completed he even brought out the faulty part, and showed me what was making the noise! Obviously he did a great job or I wouldn't have even made it out the city of Houston. It's a shame I won't be back, but hopefully this helps anyone find quality service at better prices than the bigwig anti-consumer corporations.

Awesome experience with Charles. My 18 Ram 2500 needed a transmission rebuild. He explained the process, and the benefit of the rebuild. He promised a schedule and stuck to it, provided an estimate and the total was just a few dollars under his estimate. I stopped by one day and he showed me the old, worn parts and the new Mopar replacements. Highly recommend PTM - honest, straightforward and very competent. Honoring a schedule is super important to me as I use my truck to make a living.Service: Transmission

Excellent work. I've had Charles repair 2 different vehicle transmissions, and both were done correctly the first time. It's nice to find some trustworthy, dependable, and reasonable. They ought to rename the place to The Man because Charles is.
