This was my second year taking my pups for their annual check up/vaccines and a couple of stomach/ear infections, everyone is always very helpful and friendly, we've seen several doctors and they all take their time answering my questions and concerns, I never feel rushed. My lab is scared of the vet after a bad experience somewhere else so he's always very shy when we go but they are always very sweet and patient with him.

At first I had no problems with this vet and would recommend to other people. After seeing Dr. Schaezler, I was hopeful that my dog would get the care he needed and if euthanasia was decided, I wouldn't have any roadblocks. Unfortunately, Dr. Schaezler left the clinic prior to my dog taking a turn and my decision to euthanize. We met with Dr. Duke and she is by far one of the worst vets I've ever had to deal with. She didn't read my dog chart with his ongoing vomiting and diarrhea issues for the last 3 years. She doesn't listen to the owners with what is occurring in the house. In her 5 minute exam she determined that my dog was perfectly fine and suggested that I change his food and would not support euthanasia. Not listening once again as I told her he's been on almost every food on the shelf including a year of prescription food. He's currently on medication prescribed by them and it's not working. To start from scratch due to an incompetent vet is not what an owner want to do, knowing their dog is suffering. My dog had an excessive amount of blood in his stool and vomited 4 times that day but that meant absolutely nothing to her. She is by far the worst addition to Silverlake and will not be a good vet if she doesn't put the textbook guidance down and provide actual clinical care. When I scheduled the appointment, I specified that it was end of life arrangements. Not sure why I had to pay for this appointment as it seems she didn't review anything and just came and gave her personal thoughts. She didn't even offer another medication to try, just suggested that I surrender him to a shelter...to suffer even more while sitting in his own feces and urine. I reached out to another veterinary office and thankfully my dog will get the care he need to be at peace. Management at Silverlake, make better decisions in your staff and advise them to leave their personal opinions at home, read patient history, and listen to the owners. Spending 5 minutes with a boxer, who is always energetic even on his worst days, and determining he is perfectly healthy is not practicing good medicine.

Very disappointed. I had to give pet away because of the expensive care. And they said we could text a question but they don't respond because that's a fee you have to pay for the doctor to have tech respond. When we first went there we explained we found a stray and we are students but was attached to her. They gave us praise for rescuing a pet and how their office helps with financial situation but they don't. Having to put her on shelter was hardest day of our life but this vet didn't want to offer down payments or any type of help.

Thanks Silverlake Animal Hospital for the great care you have provided our 3 babies. We are new customers to you and and 6 months new to TX. We originally brought our 2 year old Sadie, black lad/ridgeback mix in just for a second opinion on diabetes and it was confirmed. You folks are much closer for us, so we decided to bring in Sadie's brother and our 14 year old cat Mr. Milo and you all have treated them like your own family. All your doc's & staff are "top shelf" very clean. Thanks for your service and look forward to you all taking care of our babies moving forward. Thanks a MILLION !!!!!!

The staff was really nice and the facility looked clean. They took my dog into a room right away when they saw how excited she was to see other dogs. They explained things thoroughly. They are a little pricey

Awful vet. Lead you on for money and your pets health comes last. My dog had cancer while they treated him for arthritis and dry eyes. So he died blind and lame struggling for his life. Yet they kept wanting more and more money.

Took papi my chihuahua for a nail trim yesterday. Due to covid they are doing curbside pickup so we arrived called in and they came out to pickup my baby boy. Took about 5 minutes great job!!

This vet office is wonderful. From the friendly front desk, to the vet tech and doctors, my furry babies get great care. My dogs are all their vaccinations, blood work, and dentals. This is a professional and compassion veterinary practice.

All the girls at the front desk are so polite and helpful. The technicians take their time to listen and they are very gentle with my pets. The vet gets down on the floor with one of my pets because she's normally very nervous. They don't recommend procedures that are not needed or do anything extra without asking first. Yes, they are on the pricey side, but my puppies are worth it.

We've had 12 different cats and a dog get treated here since they opened. We love all the veterinarians and completely trust them with our animals' care. Cost options are always given ahead of time. We've had to bring two in a few times for emergency surgery due to swallowing thread. Their needs were immediately met without complications. We've also euthanized cats when they were obviously suffering. The staff is very compassionate and gives us all the time we need to say "good-bye." We wouldn't go any where else!
