I initially hired them a couple years ago, assuming it was a one-time service, and paid the flat fee of $250 after they were unable to successfully protest my property taxes. However, I just received another invoice for $250, despite not being informed that they had protested my taxes again last year. It turns out they automatically continue protesting each year and charge you $250 without your consent or knowledge. I did not want them to handle my protest again. This feels like a scam.

I will use one of the other guys that doesn’t charge a $250 flat fee!!! If you can’t get my taxes lowered then why in the heck should I pay you $250 bucks?

M M Mason was a great help in disputing the county's very high tax appraisal for my home. They worked diligently on my dispute, over several months, and multiple hearings where the county had been holding steadfast on their overly high appraisal and finally successfully got the evaluation lowered significantly in line to the actual value of my property. I highly recommend looking into M M Mason if you are in need of property tax help especially in working with the county to get a reasonable tax evaluation.

They came referred, (protest property taxes),but turned out to be a total disappointment. I should have caught the red flag right away, when they started off with “we have a flat fee of $250, regardless of what we save you”. I still went against my better judgment and trusted them.I never heard from them not one time, through the process of protesting my property taxes. After months all I received was the invoice. Well great news, they were able to reduce my property value by a whopping $37, making my savings $1.02.I guess I knew what I signed up for. Didn’t seem like they put up much of a fight. At least an explanation and maybe an apology for not being being able to save me more would have made a difference. If their efforts reflect my savings, then clearly it wasn’t there.Again I know I agreed on the $250, but do you think it was right to still be charged despite the outcome?Save your money, and just represent yourself.

M M Mason & Company have been representing not only myself, but also multiple friends, family members and others that I've referred over the last 15 + years. Great work, appropriate communication and overall a great choice if you want someone who will diligently represent you and keep your home owner taxes at or below what they should be.

Very disappointed. MM Mason & Co represented me in protesting my property Tax Appraisal. I didn't get anything from them but an invoice, and no evidence that anything was even done.
