I would not recommend. It is like a zoo. But it is good only if you are young if you have a kid 11 and up do not put them in. It is boring when you are the oldest.Edit: I was under your system Bryce and my mom's last letter starts with h I went in the summer

I am a school teacher in the area & need a safe place to leave my son. I am returning back to work on maternity leave & very nervous. My husband is a police officer & we are touring different day care centers. After reading the yelp reviews & speaking to other family members about kids r kids in Pearland I will not leave my son here. They have a high turnover of teachers & classes are very crowded!

First thing first I loved this place. My babies loved this place. It was an amazing atmosphere, they teach your babies all kinds of wonderful things. The teachers were beyond amazing and so was the director Tasha ❤️They help build your babies confidence within him/herself. I absolutely loved this place. Due to me working 3 jobs and almost working myself to a stroke. I ended up moving across the way. I miss everyone there especially the little ones ❤️ hope all is well KRK family

I am giving this one star because I feel like he had some really good teachers. This is going to be long, so bear with me...Upon touring we were very impressed with how clean and how many options the facility provided...Let me note that even before we scheduled the tour, we let them know that we were switching schools because of an incident that happened at his previous school, where a child was left on the bus, and after that they lost a good amount of staff at his previous school... we were looking for a school with more structure because the room that my child was currently in had fallen apart after losing his teacher... we told them that our child is very active and had seen his pediatrician for an evaluation due to his hyperactivity and focus but indicated that at four years old children know right from wrong, however, impulse takes over... She also stated that she would not prescribe any medication until he was in kindergarten... She recommended play therapy... We were completely on board and have been 100% upfront with the new school ... The new school was well informed...I was very excited because they had web cams in the classroom so I could see how he was acting at school versus at home. At home he listens for the most part, but has consequences. Therefore we don't see as much of the hyperactivity and not listening at home so we would check in with his teachers daily and ask how he was at his new school... Each day we would have at least 1 write up... which allowed us to reinforce whatever issue he was having in the classroom at home... They even made him a book on positive reinforcement that we would read at home, which is great! example of the write ups: moving on the carpet, or that he stuck his tongue, or that he moved from station to station that they are in for 30 minutes... Had I known that I probably would've reconsidered the facility because I knew that he was active... Research I've done and talking to other facilities show that 30 minutes at each station is unrealistic for a four-year-old but we were willing to try anything. No, I'm not saying that a four-year-old cannot sit still, but when I would view the classroom, I would notice several children, wiggling, rolling and moving around the carpet and I'd see mine sitting still. The second he would move, he would be moved to their calming station. He was already on their radar, understandable..Again, I'm not there and cannot hear what is being said, but I do know that if only one child out of several keeps getting in trouble while the others are not, it is going to cause the actions to be higher... But again, he was getting in trouble at home for every write up and even for the ones I could not justify in my head like sticking his tongue out, because that's pretty typical four old behavior but it was disrespectful so we got onto him and let him know. There's other things as well but nothing aggressive. Just a lot of redirections..I know that it can be challenging...one teacher said they gave him an iPad to keep him calm... And when he got in the car, he told me that the iPad keeps him calm. The problem with that is you tell him a certain object will keep him calm he's going to act out just to get that iPad...Everything was pretty good, except for the occasional note saying that we really need to work on staying in our stations and then we had a review with the school about his focus and they asked if we had ever had him evaluate in which I said yes Bc that was clearly stated upon touring.I was so worried i contacted his pediatrician again and she again asked is he aggressive or is it just focus? I told her it was the focus and not listening at school (at home he listens 85%) of the time. And it was again told to me that we would reevaluate at 5 but a lot of this is NORMAL 4 year old behavior..the school advised to call and talk to him throughout the day and let him know I can see him and I'm watching..When my husband talked to them, he asked can they try positive reinforcement and when I picked my child

If I was to tell you my heart had been broken that would be an understatement. I'm a very private person so I wasn't going to write a review until I found out that I wasn't the only one to experience this type of treatment. I spoke with the staff and director months in advance before my son attended his first day here. With him being special needs, I wanted to make sure they would be comfortable taking care of him. He is legally blind and needs assistance walking (long distances) but intellectually he is on cue with where he needs to be for his age. My son attended school here for a little over a week without any problems. We were told that our happy, talkative little boy was doing great. He was fitting in. In the middle of the second week it was brought to my attention that my son was a distraction and that the teachers did not have time to "help him". I was told by the director (TASHA) that maybe I should "find his an aid that can stay with him because the teachers did not have time to help him & his abilities made it hard for the "teachers"--who I'm sure only have a certificate, if that-to teach the class ." Suddenly it seemed as if they were trying to find a way to push him out of the school. After speaking with others about my experience at the school it was brought to my attention that he is not the first child with special needs that has been forced to endure this while attending a Kids R Kids facility. I hope by speaking up I can prevent someone else from having to go through what my family has. From the moment we walked in they were not welcoming. They would speak to other kids telling them bye but not my sweet boy. He used a walked and when they were told this they told me, "we will have to speak to the owners to ensure we will be able to allow that" as if a walker was taboo. As if a reasonable accommodation was an issue. After waiting for 5 days & me calling them back I was informed that they would "let him in and see how it goes because we have never had to deal with that kind of situation". --The entire staff should read up on discrimination laws and maybe do some sensitivity training.By the end of the first week my extremely happy and kind child came home crying and telling me he was so "mad". It was a HORRENDOUS experience. Thankfully we have found a new school that not only accept him but also welcomes us!Long story short, if you have a perfect kid and love aesthetics, send them here. If not, please don't.

Our daughter has gone here for 3 years and we absolutely love this Kids R Kids location! The staff are amazing and caring of all the kids. They have a daily education curriculum that has helped our daughter learn her colors, numbers and so much more!Highly recommend! After reading a recent review that I am absolutely appalled by I feel I need to include the following in my review:Racial profiling ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT EXIST at this facility! My family who is a bi-racial family has never experienced racial profiling here! In fact we now have two children enrolled and attending this location and our babies have only endured the most loving atmosphere! All staff have always been genuinely caring and loving staff! Their staff is diverse who all equally have always given both my husband and myself amazing caring vibes! This is a beyond excellent facility that we feel extremely blessed to have found to care for our children!

Kid R Kids Highland Glen has been a safe and nurturing place for my children for over 10 years. The staff is friendly, caring, and meets the needs of every child, from the infant room to the after school program. They always greet you with a smile and the assurance that they will take excellent care of the children on a daily basis. There is no other childcare facility I would choose!

My daughter has been attending Kids R Kids #44 for almost 2 years now. I’ve always appreciate the daily communication with her teachers. She comes home happy everyday; talking about the different activities she did. There’s been times where a special circumstance required additional attention in the matter and we never received any push back from the staff. We notice the passion that everyone here offers to every child. From Ms Denise, the cook to Ms Tasha, the director. This school by far the best in the Pearland area!

We have had our child at KRK Highland Glen for 3 years & recently enrolled our baby. I feel like the staff truly care about the kids they take care of. They know all of them by name & treat them as their own. I am comfortable going to work knowing they are in good hands. Communication is effortless by using the app or a simple phone call. They also have video cameras for piece of mind. My child has made many friends & seems excited to go to “school” every morning. Would highly recommend this place.

Hi! My name is Tasha Watts. I am the Director at KRK on Pearland Parkway. I started there as an Assistant Teacher in the Summer Camp Program back in 2008. I was 2 months pregnant with my now 13 year old daughter. After having my baby girl and coming back to work, they decided to promote me to the front desk as the Administrative Assistant. I worked for many years at the front desk becoming the Accounts Manager. I was so excited getting the news of becoming the Director in March of 2015. I love my job, the children and the staff I work with. KRK Pearland Parkway gives amazing opportunities to bettering yourself and alway promote within. That’s why I am in the awesome position I’m in now. My oldest daughter started at KRK pearland parkway as an infant and went through the entire program. She recently aged out turning 13 but she absolutely LOVED every classroom she was in and all of her amazing teachers. Some of those amazing teachers are still working there to this very day. My youngest daughter whom is 18 months also goes to KRK and she absolutely LOVES it. Both of my girls has learned so much attending here. I say all these things not because I work here but because it is the truth. We truly have amazing and wonderful staff. Our school is beautiful and a great learning environment and experience. We looked forward to having more wonderful families and children.

I have nothing but the upmost respect and appreciation for this place. I discovered my son was autistic shorty after he enrolled at Kids R Kids. The staff was so accommodating and never treated my son like he was a problem. At times I was a bit of a mama bear and might have been extra attentive looking back, but staff was always kind and patient with me. Tasha (director) was even willing to provide resources to us and adjust tuition rates so we could hire help to assist him when he started the preschool program there. My son has since moved on to ABA and eventually to public school. My daughter now attends KRK and has been there since 12 weeks old. She LOVES going there. She's two and already knows her ABCs, to count past 10, and say her grace before meals. This daycare is awesome and I know my kids are being taught and not just watched. 5 stars!

First, let me say that the review spewing hate about KRK- Highland Glen racially profiling- is 1) not even spelled correctly (please come correct next time) and 2) unnecessary drama to spread lies about a negative personal experience on part of that individual and is not the overall experience of 99.9% of the families enrolled there.Let me be clear, I'm not going to invalidate someone's experience, but it is obviously not the truth, which I will explain, and that review needs to be removed for hate speech against such a fabulous childcare institution. Both of my youngest children have attended KRK starting in 2019. They are bi-racial black children. They have never been more loved or cared for while attending KRK except by myself and their father. These women have gone above and beyond to show the love they have for all of the children in their care, including our two. They send pictures daily of them learning and socializing in the classroom and outdoors; they host monthly events, celebration days & summer camps to honor children of every background. My children have enjoyed every opportunity the school has provided them and are years ahead academically because of their curriculum.Personally, they sent flowers when my daughter had surgery. Liz, Denise, Tasha, Alexus & Dinorah have hugged my neck and prayed with me. They have celebrated and cried with me. The teachers in Suite 100 (especially Ms. Nancy) held my baby ALL day long so he could sleep because he was a restless infant. Ms. Katie and Felisha have styled my babies' delicate curls when I have been so overwhelmed and sent them to school with bedhead. Ms. Amie, Maritza, Donica & Meleny, Rachel, Amanda, Ariella, Reyna, Serenity, Victoria, Yael, Lauren, Laly, Felicity, and the entire crew are invited to their birthday parties and family events because they ARE family and have proven themselves as such. For someone to come online and spread malicious falsehoods about the character of these hard working ladies and the facility they run, flawlessly, I might add, is beyond ridiculous. Any child, especially children of color, will never be more loved by this ethnically diverse, loving staff. Thanks to ALL of you for everything! Don't let one person's negativity overshadow every bit of good you do for these kids and the literal sunshine you bring to the Pearland area. We love y'all!!
