I love the teachers and friendly staff, the interactions my child receives from other kids, video capability to check in at any time, and the photos of my kid doing activities

Took my kids out of here a few months ago and I must say, I knew something was up with the care here. My kids were always sick and my daughter always came home with a diaper rash despite complaints and providing cream. Now that she’s in a new place, I realize they just weren’t changing her.

Love this place. My child hates it when I pick him up early. He learned so much and was already reading before he entered Kindergarten!

I absolutely LOVE this place. Both my kids attend this location since babies. My wife has a PHD in education curriculum, we studied all the curriculums around and in her opinion this is the BEST ONE. My kids are doing GREAT and learning so much. They even worked together with us to help my kids outgrow some habits. I absolutely without a doubt recommend Kiddie Academy. A lot of my coworkers who's kids attend other schools we share notes and by far I am glad we made this choice. Rafael Santana

I have toured many childcare centers throughout the years, but I am truly disappointed. The compassion for children has definitely changed over the years. In order for children to learn and grow in a productive environment, we as adults must provide proper training and support with resources . I can't imagine how staff would be held accountable for classroom management and the resources are scarce. My heart goes out to the staff and families.

Terrible place to work. I worked there for about a month, never knew we weren’t supposed to have phones on the campus. One day my phone was in my pocket, wasn’t using it or anything and she asked for my phone I then said no because this isn’t high school. In result, she fires me then tells me she’s deducting my pay to $7.25 for the hours I’ve already worked $12 for. The staff is treated poorly, we’re always over ratio, the owner is always making rude/racist remarks. She got two people from CCC fired and one she called the police on. Do not send your kids here it is very unprofessional, unorganized, the babies be in the classrooms with the 2 year olds. The owners name is Joanne Johnson! This is not a safe place for your kids nor is it a good place to work.

Horrible center. Always over ratio.. The baby scroller is filthy. They make the cook work in classrooms as a teacher and don’t pay her extra Ms. Daphne who been there forever stealing trash bags. The babies be in the room with two year old. This center horrible. If you allow your children to attend here please watch them constantly. Cause they never know what’s going on.

I love that the staff are so attentive to each child’s personal needs and are genuinely invested in their growth. My daughter is currently in Room 1 and wasn’t completely bottle trained when she first arrived to daycare. All of her teachers, and even administrators, helped to get her trained with patience and persistence. Now she’s trying to walk and her teacher’s were kind enough to record her first steps for her father and me. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Pearland West to anyone who wants quality care for their child(ren).

I want to preface that I write this review with an extremely heavy heart. However, it is my responsibility as a parent to make sure that other parents know what happened because our child was INJURED by a staff member at this location. Our daughter was enrolled at this center for just a little over 1 year and 2 months. Throughout the course of our time here, there were a few incidents that occurred which we were not happy with, but they were able to be resolved to our satisfaction. Overall, we were happy and, most importantly, so was our toddler (for the majority of the time). On February 28th of this year, things took a very drastic turn for the worst. At bedtime that night, my daughter began to describe how Ms. Alyson had hurt her arm. Confused, but acknowledging that this was a very serious moment, I took out my phone to record her account of what happened. I sent the recording to the Director of the school, Mr. DQ Meek along with the Owner, Joann Johnson and asked that they investigate the matter. Mr. Meek promptly responded to my email and the next evening called to inform me that after reviewing the footage of the classroom that day, he did see Ms. Alyson handle my daughter in a manner that was "too forceful than I am comfortable with." Those were his words exactly! He also went on to say that she had been "reprimanded, written up and disciplined." My husband and I made an appointment to come visit with Mr. meek in person on Friday, March 4th. (The owner, Joann, was not a part of any of these conversations as she was out of the country when all of this happened.) During our face-to-face, we made Mr. Meek aware that we would be pulling our daughter out. We also informed him of the fact that our 4 year old daughter had been left with a BRUISE on her upper right arm as a result of the incident. There is absolutely NO denying that the bruise came as a result of the incident with Alyson Edwards because during our meeting with Mr. Meek, we were able to review the footage of the incident and it clearly showed Alyson walking up to our daughter's cot where she was lying on her back. Alyson grabs her by the right upper arm and yanks her VERY violently to force her onto her left side. My daughter even told me on the night of the 28th that Ms. Alyson had told her if she didn't turn over, she was going to be mad at her.The Texas State Code prohibits any child care center or worker from forcing a child to sleep. It is extremely apparent however, that Alyson was trying to force our daughter to sleep by also forcing her into a position that she believed would be optimal for sleeping. My daughter was lying on her back on her cot. There was NOT and will NEVER be a reason why a child needs to be FORCED into another position, especially so VIOLENTLY by somebody you have entrusted to care for your child. Alyson Edwards acted completely unprovoked and her actions are completely inexcusable, yet Mr. Meek and Mrs. Johnson apparently believe her actions are worth overlooking as they have chosen to completely disregard the safety of all other children at the center so as to not disrupt their day to day operations. When we met with Mr. Meek in person, he stated that he could not let Alyson go because she was also their bus driver and he had no one to replace her both inside the school and on the road. Even after my husband pointed out the huge liability he would be taking on by keeping her, he didn't seem phased. It wasn't until after we both began crying from seeing the footage of Alyson inappropriately handling our daughter, that he agreed to terminate her employment that day. I learned later that this was just a lie to make us feel comforted in the moment as they had in fact kept her on. At the end of the day, my daughter was hurt in their care and I will tell everyone who is willing to listen. I did in fact report the center to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services who has issued citations for violations so you know I am not writing a false review. I also filed a Police Report with
