“This hotel was surprisingly comfortable and quiet. I stayed here for two nights while my sister had a surgery performed. When I pulled up I have to admit I was a little scared of the location but it was a safe place that seems to be frequented mostly by business travelers and out of town laborers. I would stay here again if it was necessary for me to visit that area again.”

“I was in this hotel for work, it is comfortable, it has a microwave and mini fridge.It's close to work. Excellent for me.I liked the coffee they left every day.”
“Overall the high marks are due to the check in staff lady. She (African-American) was very kind and helpful. She was indeed the Pearland Candlewood ambassador.
The room was near the Airconditioning equipment and I had to turn Tv on to sleep.
the biggest Turn off is the room condition:
1. The pillows had a foul odor and I had to rotate to locate the least offensive one.
2. The light fixtures were stained. I had to purchase alcohol to disinfect him and counters and tv remote. The door was soiled and I use alcohol on them as well.

I paid a premium for the room was very uncomfortable staying in soiled condition.
I took images and shared with the check out staff. The front staff did not apologized when I emailed to her.
I will return but will request a different room and inspect to ensure it is clean the next time.

“The front desk attendants are very sweet, they greet you with smiles and always around for your needs. I’ve stayed in a hotel recently that would leave a note that they’d be back and guests were just waiting for whatever they needed. Holiday Inn is just well managed in general. Had to use 5 days to keep diamond status before the end of the year and it has a nice clean hot tub that works. Enjoyable place to lay your head.”
