Rick B assisted me at the Pearland Hertz location. He was EXCELLENT!! Very patient, professional, and extremely helpful!! 10 out of 10, would recommend!!!

I rented the car rental on 6/25/24 under my insurance. I had to pay the deposit in which the director of the location, Rick, had me pay the $50 in which was suppose to include the tolls pass as well. Rick befriended me, we texted the entire time i had the rental. He never provided me with my rental agreement either. But when all this hit the fan he tried to disregard anything i had to say! Throughout the month of having the rental Rick’s assistant, Datiana Williams, charged my card an extra $110 and $80 after i spoke with her and let her know i was under car insurance they should be handling the situation. Before i could call my insurance she charged my credit card anyway. I did not authorize the charge and my credit card company flagged my account and closed my credit card due to the charges. I tried to rectify with Hertz and was given the run around. The charges were pending for a month after i returned the rental on 7/22/24. On 8/12/24 i was sent an invoice with charges for tolls for $49 and a convenience fee $59. I reached out to Hertz toll company who transferred me to billing , who then transferred me to the manager, Rick, at the hertz location. I once again explained the situation to him he then hung up in my face. I drove to the Hertz location to get the situation rectified and Rick had me removed from the store for trespassing and then lied and told the police i was intoxicated at 9am after asking for his bosses number and or Corporate because he claimed there was nothing he could do although billing and the tolls company said he was the only person who could help with the rental agreement. He denied me access to corporate and his bosses contact information. I am black and given Rick having the cops remove me for a mistake they made could have caused me my life or anything! This has been a complete hardship of my funds and caused emotional distress. No one should be treated this way after a company’s mistake. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION HERTZ IN PEARLAND!

I really like this location so much. There is a girl named Dot and she is so happy and friendly and not to mention super professional. I was having issues with my car and she helped to make the process of getting a rental car so fast and easy. I would highly recommend this location.

I recently rented a vehicle from Hertz Pearland. Ricky provided excellent customer service!!! His chipper attitude and smile was very contagious. Upgraded my vehicle and although I didn’t need it, he extended my reservation with no hassle. The ONLY reason why I am giving a 4 instead of 5 is because the car I received was not completely cleaned. I had to wash the car after I left the location and was not provided a walk through for the previous damages to the vehicle as I typically get when rented at other Hertz locations, but no complaints; ultimately it was a wonderful rental experience. I will definitely utilize this location more.

I just had a horrible experience here. I had a reservation and traveled over an hour to pick it up. I was told that since I was just over an hour late (10 min) that they were able to give my car that was reserved away to anyone that walked in,w since they didn’t know if I was showing up. I had a confirmed reservation. Since I have 3 children I needed a certain amount of seats and the only other available vehicle was an upgraded one so I was going to have to pay more for it. I was as kind and as patient as I could be. I found the lady to be working rude, unhelpful, and not accommodating at all. When you are spending hundreds on a rental car I expect better service. I tried calling customer service and was told the only ones who could help me was calling back to the same rude location. I looked through our emails and paperwork and did not see anywhere about calling to change the pick up time if you’re an hour late. I’ve never had this happen when renting. This is insane and I will never use Hertz again and will steer everyone away from this location.

Man this place is amazing and so is the staff that work here. They went above and beyond for us to get the rental we needed. DATI is amazing, patient, and has a good personality. The guy who works beside her is awesome as well but I don't know his name. I am referring all my friends and family to them.

Hertz has gone to the garbage, especially in this location. I had a confirmed reswervation with herts fo $198, upon getting htere the manager told me he could not honor my coupon and that I would have to re do my reservation at the current rate of $1800. he told me there was nothing he could do and trying to get throughto Hertz is totally impossible. this company has turned to garbage. the manager turned his back on me, walked away and said i cant do nothing for you brrother. upon returning, I was upset and asked what the "F" and I were supposed to do?. he said I cursed at him with it was incorrect, I mererely was pissed and expressed myself wit the f word, not directed at me, then he said the most shocking thing I have ever heard inany business. he actually told me that he would not take cursing at him because he was a "Muslim" and that I would never be able to rent from Hertz again. he did this despite me having a reservation confirmed!! he asked me to leave the store. i have never seen this behavior from anyone ever before. I have been renting from Hertz before this despicable individual was born. he made it a point to show me because he was "Muslim" he was basically better than me and he can do what he wants. he LIED about owning the location, he is just a sorry manager employee. This is only the beginning and I URGE you to stay away from this location. I live here in Pearland, and we will not accept behavior lie this from any business. I cant contact corporate to let them know, but I now have a personal vendetta against this person and business. and I am a online marketing specialist. He just messed with the wrong client. I believe his problems are just beginning. DO NOT EVER rent from this place.

Rick went above and beyond when it came to getting me a rental. He put me in an awesome 2023 Polestar 2 fully loaded and really helped me through the whole rental period. This is a must-go-to location for renting a vehicle!

I rented a car from here for about a week and was provided excellent service. Rick was fast, efficient, and extremely courteous. His customer service is unmatched. I was lucky enough to catch a special on an EV (Polestar 2) through Expedia and was thoroughly impressed with the vehicle. It was stylish, high-tech, and drove like a dream. Returning the car was a smooth process and I was provided a ride back to my local destination. Overall I would rate my experience a 10/10 and I would definitely recommend renting from this location.

I booked a car rental online to be ready for pickup at 2:30 pm. I arrived and there was a sign on the door stating that they would be right back. The branch manager Cora returned slightly after 3 pm. The guy working with her was in the back. After I started the process of completing the paperwork she asked him to go prepare the car and informed me that it would be an additional al 15-20 minutes late. Upon returning the car a manager in training inspected the car stating that there was a Crack in the windshield. From my inspection it looked like a smudge of dirt from driving the car and not cleaning it prior to returning it. I asked for pictures of the vehicle prior to me taking it into my property and I took pictures as well. You could not see the alleged damage on either picture. After explaining this to them and wasting additional time I had to contact the corporate office for assistance where they handled the situation immediately. I have traveled and rented cars for years from other rental agencies and I have never had an incident like this. Stay far away from this rental agency. Customer service is subpar and it seems like they are trying to take advantage of individuals.

This location is terrible. Made a reservation 2 weeks ago and it’s been over an hour and I’m still waiting for my car to be ready.THEY HAVE 1 EMPLOYEE on site and she is• checking in people• CLEANING THE CARS• checking out peopleAND ITS NEW YEARS WEEKENDFriday @ 9amI’ll save the rest of my comments to myself (maybe someone called in… like the manager lol)but go to the airport people and get your vehicle from there.
