Waiting waiting waiting - that’s all you’ll do here. Ended up leaving and taking my business someplace else.

I’m highly disappointed with Costco Tire. After reading reviews and now being on hold for 27 minutes and counting I am now going to hang up and take my buisness to Sam’s. I decided to call Sam’s Club while on hold from my wife phone. They answered in 2 minutes, understanding the urgency, told me I could walk in on a first-come, first-served basis, which I appreciated. I switched back to Costco, where I was still on hold. When the representative finally answered, they immediately put me back on hold without explanation.
As an Executive Member, this is not how I expect to be treated. Right now, I’m reconsidering renewing my membership. From my perspective, Costco’s tire department is severely understaffed, and perhaps they’re unwilling to pay enough employees to provide adequate service. Every lane and computer should be open to serve customers, or maybe someone needs to consider lowering executive salaries to invest more in customer service.

I took an appointment for a tire change at 2.30pm to change 4 tires. It’s 4.45pm and still waiting. The new tires are not even mounted on the wheels. They spend more time on the computer and paper work than doing the actual work. They just keep walking here and there. Horrible.

made a appointment over the phone just to show up and waste my time, i wanted a specific type of tire and the black man at the counter refused to sell them to me since they were “high speed tires” for my car, first off why even care about my choice in tires and giving me a attitude about it like you got sum shoved up there, so i left with time wasted and no tires but at least sam's club didn’t pull any of that bs with me, 0/10 don’t come here unless you like getting attitudes and time wasted.

Same experience as the other poor reviews. Bad tire balancing that my car would shake at higher speeds. Took forever. Never again. Crap service.

They take forever. Worst part is that they never tell you how long it will take. Most auto shops can at least give you enough info on whether you should go home or wait it out.
The “free install” part is not technically a scam, but unless you literally have nothing better to do than wait 5+ hours at Costco, you should really get your tires changed elsewhere. Since I assume most people reading this review have work, family, or a life, it’s 100% not worth it. Buy your tires elsewhere and have it installed there.
Costco is really going downhill… I’m strongly questioning what value membership provides me. Seems like I’m paying for the illusion of lower prices.

This tire center service is terrible. I ordered my tire on Sep 6. On Sep 16 I got email saying that the tire is ready. I called them and they said it not available yet and let me wait for their call. Then Nothing happened until I went there check in person on Sep 22nd. They apologized and said will schedule 2:30 pm same day installation. I came there 2:15pm and waited for about another 30 mins to get served. I would like to say that If there is zero star option you deserve it. Update: I just cancelled my order and filed a complaint to their manager. Was told to get response by next Tuesday. Let see what will happen.

Horrible experience. Had the tires changed and rotated here and a week later the TPMS light came on indicated that there as something with the tire sensors. Brought it here and they said I need to have all sensors replaced and that the sensors are not part of their warranty. We never had an issue with our tire sensor until after we got our tires changed here. This is absurd. Customer service standards is down in hell.

If I didn't inspect the tires after replacing for new ones. I wouldn't have knew there was a whole missing lug nut. They didn't even have the decency to inform me. Upon asking about it, one of the employees grabbed it off the ground. Completely stripped. Another one said "I suggest you replace all the lug nuts cause they are old". Seems more like rushed work than old to me. Just have some decency for the other members that don't know anything about cars.

I really appreciate Costco for the most part but I found that basic knowledge is not present across all platforms. I was informed that my car could not be lifted safely as if this was standard information. All of this is after waiting an hour and a half for my car to be done during my 1 pm appointment. So 2:30 i am informed

When you answer the phone and if you answer the phone, i think you should be polite and respectful at all times, either you are answering the phone at your home or at your work place. If you are answering the damn phone at your work place, and happen to be talking to a customer, the least you can do is be polite and answer customer’s question best to your ability. If you are an employee who is slammed with work then do not answer the phone and be rude to another human being. I understand your parents didn’t teach you anything and COSTCO hired you without any basic training like how to speak to another human being. To the man on the phone, there are other people who are more qualified than you are so sooner or later you will be fired. To COSTCO, you are terrible bunch of idiots because I am here writing a review while you could have managed and trained your employees.

Back to Discount Tire for me. I brought my Truck to the Webster store for a my periodic balance and rotate. They noticed that one of my tires had chunk of rubber missing from the sidewall of the tire and the steel belts were showing. The tire is unrepairable and they said they would replace it under warranty (prorated) but they didn't have a replacement tire in stock. I was told that the Pearland store had 3 tires in stock. The next day I take my truck to the Pearland store for the warranty replacement. The Tire center "manager" looked at the tire and said it would not be replaced under warranty because there was a small scratch on the edge of the rim and he determined that the wheel had been curbed and that is considered an "accident". I told him that the Webster store said it was a warranty replacement and I even showed him where there own policy that states:What is covered:1. "Road hazard failure" is defined as a tire that becomes unserviceable due to cuts, non-repairable punctures or IMPACT DAMAGE.After a heated back and forth he stuck to his guns and kept claiming that the truck had been in an "accident" and that they would not cover the replacement under warrantyTook the truck back to Webster they ordered the tire and replaced it under warranty no questions asked (prorated at $175 which is really not much of a warranty considering that is about what I paid for the tire originally but tire prices have increased dramatically since I purchased the tires ~3 years ago)Thanks to the friendly Tire Center "Manager" in Pearland the next time I need tires I'm heading back to Discount Tire and will not look back.

My family and I have been shopping at this location ever since it opened. The cashiers, food samplers and other staff working here have always been very nice and courteous. The store is very clean, well stocked and organized as well. However, today my son and I were trying samples and came across the person serving the ham, this happened at around 2:50 p. m at this location. He was cutting up the pieces and putting them in the disposable little containers. I reached over to take one and he immediately with a very loud and rude tone told me to stop. He said you do not take anything from the trays, we serve you when we serve you meaning he would give me the sample. He also in a very loud and scolding manner told me that I had contaminated all the ham he had served and that he would have to throw it all out, however I didn't touch anything because he stopped me before I could even take one. I would also like to point out that there was a couple sampling ham and the lady grabbed the container the ham was in and opened it but he didn't tell her anything at all. It was very embarrassing and humiliating especially because my son and other customers witnessed this. It made my son very nervous. Every server we have sampled from before allows us to pick up the samples ourselves and they have never had a problem with that. I was going to purchase 3 Kirkland hams but instead I left and purchased elsewhere. I will definitely avoid him in the future. I do not like leaving reviews like this but I just wanted to say that this was very unprofessional and uncalled for. I know there are certain policies when it comes to food but he could have been more polite. The reason I gave 3 stars and not 5 is because of what happened today.

Got everything processed for a TPMS workup. Paperwork was given to me at 10:40am. I went to shop around and was sitting in front of the tire center at 11am. At 1:20 I asked for an update. They claimed they called me at 11:15 and left a voice mail. I showed them my phone and checked and voice-mail to see I had nothing. This worker who claimed he called me made false paperwork to show he "called" me at 11:15. Don't get work done here if they're going to lie about making and leaving a voice-mail.Update: Asked to speak to someone higher up and the higher up lady said she could pull up the call log. She came back and told me there was proof I was called. One of the workers showed me a picture, and it was in fact NOT my number. It was 1 number off. Very incompetent staff. If they can dial a number correctly, what makes you think they can install things correctly? It all involves numbers.
