I live at a community near by, I've made multiple attempts to have a malnourished stray dog picked up to be saved. My leasing office also tried to make multiple attempts. Reeny, Rainey, whatever her name is, should find a new field to work in. She hung up in my face, hung up in the leasing agents faces. She was aggravated because we called for two weeks about the same puppy. She has no empathy, patience, or accountability for her actions. My leasing staff also communicated with me that they made the attempt to remove the dog themselves, putting the maintenance staff in danger getting bit by the dog in the process. Since when they called, along with other residents. Nobody has showed up. When arrived SHE TURNED THE DOG AWAY. This was my first time ever having to take matters into my own hands trying to help my property out along with my sanity and worries of the puppy. It was a terrible experience. I just want to say how terrible her customer service is and her role should not involve her talking to anyone. You'll get better service at Popeyes or a county hospital, to say the least...My suggestion is to please retrain her.. On the bright side of the animal only, a different officer end up accepting the dog in the end.

I just went to go drop off a kitten I found in my dads work van engine and employee last name ANDERSON proceeded to tell me “I can’t guarantee it will have a live outcome, I can’t guarantee it won’t be euthanized” like okay wow what an amazing thing to say. So you mean to tell me kittens who are dropped off are killed? And then proceeded to suspect that I owned this kitten. I’m allergic to cats, I’ve experienced SOB, wheezing, coughing and hives and you think I own this kitten. Why else do you think I’m wearing a mask and dropping it off at a shelter? The staff’s demeanor was so belittling and ugly. I think Pearland should do better about hiring compassionate and understanding staff.

They were very rude people and did not explain information well about policies. I left a special kind of food for my dog because he had allergies and they fed him what they wanted and it was not the food l left.

This place is a joke I live in a trailer park just moved here to Pearland about a month ago and I came home from work this afternoon and found a. Black and white kitty sitting in my yard not moving when I tryed to scare him away and eyes rolling around like it was weak and dehydrated.i have several pictures also they way I found it.i called this office and they told me they would come get it but not sure of the ETA.so I gave my name, number and address ans spoke to officer Craft and then I proceeded to ask if I could take it down there and he said yes.when I arrived to this location they asked me to fill out paperwork and show my drivers license i went to the car and got then another woman told me because my driver license wasn't Pearland they won't be able to take it .so I proceeded to take it to the human society which they also are not taking animals.I called back to the Pearland to speak with craft and asked if they were to pick up the cat ,how would that also work if my DL didn't have Pearland address and he told me that I was lying about the cat being sick and lethargic and when they looked at him he could stand on his own.Clearly the kitty is sickly and barley alive just because he opened his eyes a few times doesn't mean he is going to survive on its own without proper hydration or food.his eyes were crusted over and skin and bones. This animal shelter told me.one thing over the phone and completely did another thing in person and I received no help from them and if they came to my house obviously they might not have taken the cat because he never mentioned that my DL had to be Pearland address. No proper communication, or concern for living animals or human beings.I have pictures and videos of this poor kitten, and they have the audacity to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the cat. They're just lazy and don't want to help nobody..poor cat is weak and this is how I found it. The eyes alone show its not well. I had to take it to my landlords office just to see what she can do for it .If nothing now it will starve and die out in this trailer park ..I have two dogs and I pay for my animals to be here ..my God help them people at this facility to realize how evil and rude they were to me

I found a cat that has a chip registered here and they refuse to give me the owners name. They said they called and left a voicemail and I haven’t heard anything since. Perhaps the owner has a new number. Why wouldn’t you want to connect a lost pet with their owner. TERRIBLE. Instead of doing the right thing. What do you think I’m going to solicit a pet owner with their own pet? Lol. Horrible people, y’all should be ashamed of yourselves for this.

Animal control service ! It's the best place to be rejected , not accept the animal in any situation, they just give a list of places, don't accept cat and dogs and you are lost ... nobody can help you ... what they are promoting be cruel with the animals just throw them in the street because this places never help you ...so sad !!

Horrible staff with no regards for innocent animals. I found two little puppies in my yard and did not know where they came from. I took them to the Pearland Adoption Center and they immediately told me that they could not take them after accusing me several times of trying to dump my puppies. The employees there were rude, ugly, and just down mean. The women there said if I left them, they would kill them. She went to get the gentlemen and he said that they will put them to sleep. He looked through the cage and said they were sick and could have parvo. He also told me that if I had dogs, they would die. After much though, I decided not to leave them. They scarred me to death so I took them to the vet. They both tested negative for parvo.

What a totally worthless department this is. Since they don't have dog catchers anymore, we decided to help out by capturing a cat that is an aggressive breeder that was abandoned by a neighbor who unfortunately has dementia and has been placed in a facility. Her family sold the house and abandoned the cat. We took the cat to animal control. As we entered the facility, there were three city employees standing on the building steps smoking, apparently on break but as worthless as this department is that may be their job function. We entered and explained the situation. The girl at the desk began asking questions that were obviously designed to turn us away. When we answered the questions successfully, she leaves to speak to her supervisor and returns to tell us they won't take the cat. Of course the supervisor did not come out to address the situation. I cannot believe I have to pay taxes for a worthless department like this.

Being a good citizen and an animal lover I picked up a stray cat that was very emaciated, mattes in its hair, blind, and probably really sick. We went to this place to get help for this cat and not only was I questioned like I brought in a dead body in but threatened to pull cameras of where we picked the poor cat up. We just took the cat and left because obviously they did not care and if that be the case then go find another job where you don’t have to deal with people who have hearts and trying to save a poor animal in need. I feel sorry for whoever Shari D Coleman is because this place and its workers are a disgrace to her legacy! WOW!
