I've been taking my Bischon, Biscuit to Ultimate Pet Spa for years. I trust them. They are great. They've been in business a longtime so that says something.

Took my dog to Ultimate Pet Spa back in October. Over the past week we kept wondering why my dogs head was smelly. Come to find out Ultimate Pet Spa left cotton lodged way down in both ears that we couldn't see. We finally got them out and the smell was HORRIBLE! I called them to ask them about it and the response I got from the manager was "I'm sorry, we're human". I said "that's it? you're human?" Her reply was "what would you like me to do ma'am?" That's not acceptable! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS PUPS TO THIS PLACE! I now have to take my dog to the vet to make sure he doesn't have an infection in his ears.

Worst groomers I’ve been too thus far. On top wrongfully charging me many additional extra fees for fleas and medication when all my dogs have been treated and medicated appropriately and are indoor dogs, they also hurt and abused my dog today. Picked up both my dogs and when I got home was checking my dogs as one usually does after a grooming and noticed one of my dogs had trauma and blood dripping from his right eye. When I called and asked about what had happened they basically just denied anything occurred during the grooming process and the lady on the phone began gaslighting me over the phone saying if I decided to do anything that they had insurance so the cops or animal control won’t do anything for me. I ended up going back to the groomers to get a better explanation and after being gaslit again in person I just left since they clearly weren’t gonna take responsibility for anything let alone an apology. I had to take my dog to the pet hospital immediately where they prescribed me medication for his eye. All in all terrible place to bring an animal to get groomed and hopefully no other pets endure the pain and suffering they had to put up with today or ever.

The absolute BEST grooming my baby boy has ever received. I told them to please keep him looking “boyish”.I was very behind on his grooming and they went above and beyond my expectations! I’m so grateful to finally have found our permanent place to get him bathed and groomed. Also, such a big plus that he made himself right at home with all the other dogs there. ?

The team does great work even when shorthanded. They are understanding if you're running a bit late and always do an extraordinary job with both of my dogs. I have been taking both my shih tzus here for a long time now and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dog groomer.

Not friendly. Gave my dog medicine WITHOUT asking OR telling me. Charged me for it though. Would not recommend.

I am so disappointed in the horrific haircut that my Yorkie was given here today. The shop was highly recommended. How could they allow such sloppy, unprofessional work?When I complained, Kathryn worked on my dog for an hour to try to repair the damage that another worker had done. Thank you, Kathryn. But my little guy was traumatized and looks strange now. I cannot trust U PS to take care of my dog my again.UPDATE: the shop owner and Kathryn apologized for the way my dog was groomed, asked for the opportunity to make things right, and offered a discount if I have my dog groomed there again. That shows integrity. I won't drive 35 miles each way again to have my dog groomed, and will find a local groomer, but I appreciate the apology and offer to make things right. U P S has a good reputation generally. I will change my rating of them to 3 stars, based on their response to my negative experience there.

I made a phone appt to have my dog scissor cut and was quoted a maximum price of $110. When I arrived I was told it would be $200 an hour…a minimum of $400. Oh, and it would probably take more like three hours so…$600. What?!? I immediately drove to Pet Resort on Red Bluff which will provide the exact same service for $120. Even if the price had been good at the place, the people are super unfriendly. Blah! What a waste of my time!!!

I love this place, so friendly and gentle, offer exceptional customer service! Megan is very sweet and groomed my Yorkie, she looked so beautiful clean! I highly recommend Ultimate Pet Spa!

Took my dog there many times was pretty happy with the results till she calls me at one day to tell me or ask me if my dog had a problem with his eye which he did not have so when I went to pick him up his hours are bloodshot and swollen so I took him to the vet said it looks like he had been nipped maybe with scissors or maybe hit by another dog well she never called even check on him I had a vet bill of $125 I was very disappointed always been very good to those people tipping and taking gifts from Jackson and they didn’t even call to check on him I will not be going back there he was very stressed out when I picked him up and I also was very stressed out I was a terrible day

My little pug's first visit was on January 12 and he had a great time!! I love the fact that all the fur babies are allowed to play out in the open in this salon. They did a wonderful job and it had been a long time searching for a groomer for him. He felt and smelled great! Thank you Ultimate Pet Spa!!!?
