Will prob end up calling cooperate because I’m just so irritated by the whole situation but I figured I’ll just start here. I don’t like doing these types of things but I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. I booked an appointment through the phone on 12/16/23 for 12/30/23. I get a call the day before my appointment asking if I can reschedule for later on in the day or even to reschedule altogether. He assured me that if I didn’t reschedule then I would be waiting up to 2 hours before I could even be seen. He told me that he was the only one working that day and the appointments were booked back to back. I was so confused by it all. And the group I was supposed to be taking the pictures with couldn’t do another day. So I called a diff JCPenney studio and she informed me that his schedule wasn’t even “back to back” and some hadn’t even confirmed yet. I called him back and told him that I booked elsewhere so that he wouldn’t be overwhelmed. He seemed very happy with his decision to create a less stressful day for himself but had no sympathy with ruining mine. I am so shocked by the lies and the utter disregard from an employee. There was no way I would go get our pictures done by him. He would have been annoyed that we were there and he made that clear from the phone call. So disappointed and expected so much more.

The lady told me it would be $119 and when I saw the receipt they charged me $169. I called and asked for a refund of the difference. They said ok. Never got the refund.

We had my 7 month Olds baby pictures taken. It was very easy to make an appointment. The lady that took our pictures was very patient and did an amazing job.

Booked an appointment for portraits for my son’s first birthday. Poor picture quality, props were nothing to write home about. Took better pictures with my iPhone than the ones I got from them for hundreds of $$. A waste of time and money

Lady who answered the phone... rude and dismissive. Guy who was there when we showed up... clueless but courteous. He was from another location. Gentleman couldn't work the computer to save his life, but he was very nice and attentive during the photo shoot. Very entertaining. He made the experience very nice. The missing star was for the rude and dismissive rep who answered the phone. Other than that, pictures were nice..... but overpriced. We just bought the digital package $129.99 with a "coupon" (originally $169.99).... only to see it sold on their website for $99. Walmart prints are said to be better quality and definitely more affordable. I have confirmed this.

Today was such a great experience! Marisol was our photographer and she was so patient and understanding towards our infant. She exceeded in customer service, if I could give her 10 stars I would. She got on the floor multiple times when she was taking pictures and doing everything in her power to get good photos. I can’t wait to come back and request her for more pictures of our baby. My baby wasn’t cooperating as I thought she would and I figure we wouldn’t get good shots but nope! Marisol took the best pictures ever, my spouse and I were amazed! It was so hard picking the pictures just because all of them were so beautiful. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Marisol, you’re the best. ?

Don't waste your money on pictures. The lady was unprofessional only got pictures of my son crying when he was actually crying and was over it at the end of the shoot. I got one picture of him while he was okay but his arm was cropped out seems more focused on the background. Waste of my time !

This is our second year taking our holiday photos with jcpenny , it is my own fault because I wait too long to schedule with another photographer. Last time we went in to the baybrook location and everything was perfect. This was the complete opposite, the lady called early in the morning to try to get me to move my appointment to an earlier spot and I was not able too so she was very rude after this. Very rude when we arrived, 30 minutes early at that.We were rushed to get through the shoot, and rushed out before we could get prints. Will never be going to this location again.
