I visited this business today because I was in need of a notary and didn’t feel like going to UPS. The lady who helped me was kind but she scammed me. When it was time to pay, I asked the cost because it was not posted anywhere that I could see. She said “$21”. Now I was a notary and so was my husband. So I thought that was odd for one document with one signature. I paid and left since I had somewhere to be. Upon bringing it to my husband’s attention, he immediately brought up the laws in Texas for notaries. It’s a maximum of $10 per document and an additional $1 per signature. It also states that the prices should be posted where clients can see them plainly. I hate to see businesses taking advantage of people.

Hi! December 19th and 20th of 2023 I had the pleasure of speaking with and working with Mario. I definitely needed Mario's "excellent expertise" regarding a serious income tax situation. I thank God a close friend referred me to García's Notary and Income Tax Service; and I'm grateful Mario gave me an appointment for the next morning.Mr. Mario García, Jr. kindly reviewed the 2020 tax form, important letters from the IRS, paperwork, etcetera which I submitted to him; and he highly suggested we meet the following day. Mario spent quality time repreparing my 2020 Income Tax Return and repreparing the first amended 2020 Income Tax Return.Mario is extremely: honest, knowledgeable, helpful, understanding, experienced, organized, and friendly. Mario kindly welcomed me as soon as I walked into their office.[By the way, the 2020 / 2023 income tax ordeal was caused by a Tax Preparer at a different Tax Service. She had incorrectly prepared my 2020 Income Tax Return, and then incorrectly amended it in 2023. Therefore, I needed "An Income Tax Expert" after being audited in 2023.]I highly recommend García's Notary and Income Tax Service; their company is a great asset to our community, and they're open all year.If I could give Mario 20 stars, I definitely would! I am so so happy i found this place! I have been stressed trying to find someone to notarize a test for me. I contacted many people who were unavailable.
