Edit: They got new card machines and things seem to be better so far.Always something going on at this location. Google maps says it's open, s8gn on the door says "will return at 9:00am". Signs on door says "CASH ONLY", been that way for weeks. Came in the other day and heard a cashier tell a customer "oh the chip reader works", so they could use their card. Pick one. It's either "cash only" or "cash and chipped cards only". What's going on at this place?

Cashier was in such a hurry that she didn't let me finish putting in my phone number at the register. They also hide couponing items behind the register.

I have gone to this location since it changed from Family Dollar to Dollar General. I have decided to start shopping elsewhere as the staff has become VERY VERY rude. The only time any of them open their mouths is when they say "welcome to Dollar General" as you walk in the door which is safe to assume it's company policy because it's the ONLY time any of them speak to customers. When the cashier's are not on their phones they do not say hello or even verbally tell you what your total is when checking out your purchases. I understand the current generation of entry level employees does not want to work or feel they need to even act like they want to work but it has become extreme and very apparent at this location. I myself am in the customer service business and have been for 25 years, if I treated or acted the way the staff does at this location I would be jobless in a New York minute. A company wide memo should go out about how to properly treat customers spending their hard money at your stores because attitudes like this will cause you to lose quite a bit of business.

I was greeted entering and was helped by a very nice associate named Jessica. She was polite and helpful. Checkout was fast and courteous. Store was very organized and clean. Will be shopping here again.
