Should have known when I read there were new owners that it would be a wasted trip (coming from Spring). No fresh meat in the cases, everything is already vacuum sealed. Meat coolers maybe 1/3 full. Got our 2 jars of house BBQ dry seasoning and took off otherwise empty handed. If you’re looking for the old fashioned meat market they used to be, you’ll be sadly disappointed. We won’t be back.

Meat cold , potato salad crunchy, bean s from a can and cold. Order wrong . Don't no what happened because this place used to be so good. Hope it gets better

I was looking for some smoked sausage and found this place doing a google search. Called and they had smoked sausage on sale…should have known better! It was their in house sausage! I didn’t bother cooking it, went straight to the trash! It had to worst smell! I believe it was bad, hence the very awesome sale! Smell it before you buy it! Shame on you guys!

Went in earlier today to try the bbq, I have to say it was some of the worst I’ve ever had. Brisket was tough and obviously reheated. Ribs were dry bland and overcooked. Also reheated I believe. The sausage was terrible and also reheated. Also if you get chopped beef you get some mush there passing off as such. Please do better, make fresh bbq at the very least.. a little salt pepper and garlic never hurt anyone

I’m so happy been looking for a good local bbq place. Had an amazing experience. I will be coming here for now on! The customer service was phenomenal!

Got a chopped beef baked potato and it was so yummy. My mom got a potato salad and turkey leg! She really enjoyed the potato salad. Ran inside to ask for some bread. The nice young man helped us and was very sweet.

I have gone to choice for meat for decades. I have always loved going there for the meat packages. Unfortunately things have changed. Before you could always substitute anything in the package if there is something you don't want. I have always gotten ground meat for the sausage. This time a woman working there informed us that there are no substitutions in the packages. We found a smaller package that didn't have pork in it since we are allergic and got that. Then in the freezer section the ground chuck had a sign saying that it was 10 lbs for $14,99 or 2 for $28,99 This was confusing us so we went back to Shannon and said we wanted the 10 pounds of meat. She said that 10 pounds would be 28.99 even though the sign said otherwise. When we asked her to explain what the sign meant she tore up the sign and said she would ring us up at the front, pretty much letting us know that she wasn't going to discuss it further and that we should leave. We bought our little packages and walked out of the store for the last time. I'm not sure where she came from since I've never seen her there before but she is going to run a lot of people away with that kind of customer service.

Really good selection of meat and other products. Family owned business!! Friendly staff. Very good prices! We usually shop the packs and find extras to purchase. Highly recommend and always support local business!
