I came in with a P0420 code. I said I was pretty sure it was the manifold catalytic converter and I had tested the sensors ahead of time and they appeared to be functioning properly, so I didn’t think it was the sensors. I was asked to leave the truck at Brock the next morning for diagnosis. When I went to pick up the truck and the quote several hours later, I was told it was the sensors, because the converters had been inspected, looked good, and he didn’t see any clogs. Next, he said the diagnosis, which I thought was free, would be $50.00 if I put the sensors in myself or wanted to go elsewhere. It seemed odd to add this disclaimer after already doing the diagnosis, but since my boss wanted to have the truck fixed there, the fee wouldn’t apply to us, so, whatever. After both sensors were installed (he forgot to plug the upstream one in, so I got several different codes and I had to plug the sensor in, to clear them) P0420 came back on after 340 miles. I called this morning and he told me it must be the manifold catalytic converter I originally said I thought was the issue. I told him he told me he looked at the converters and they looked good and I had told him I tested the plugs ahead of time, so I was a bit upset I just spent all that money fixing the wrong issue (especially when I would have owed him $50.00 for that diagnosis, had I not had the vehicle serviced there). He said there is no way to inspect the converters without removing them, but he listened for a rattle and didn’t hear anything (he previously told me he couldn’t see any clogs, so I guess, technically, he wasn’t misspeaking). I asked for a quote on the converter and he just said it would be expensive, but he wasn’t sure how much, because he doesn’t service converters there. The whole second half of the conversation, he was very defensive and kept talking over me. He asked each time I finished speaking, “Are you finished talking?” then he told me to just take our truck elsewhere and hung up on me.Silver lining: I was allowed to provide my own parts (NTK), so the parts were way cheaper and he said he cleaned the fuel injectors for us. The parts were unnecessary and will stack up with the cost of the real issue, but the labor was $150.00, which seems reasonable. If you have P0420/emissions related problems, Meineke in Webster diagnosed and quoted the correct solution before my boss had me go to Brock.

Had my transmission (quick fixed) at this scam artist place . Come to find out for a new transmission I received sawdust in my transmission and a bottle of quick fix. Not wanting to fix it he called cops on me like the weasel he is. I wouldn't let this man touch your car, he is not a mechanic either is his father that has a history of screwing ppl over as well

Only giving one star because i cant review without leaving a star .This place is absolutely disgraceful. The shop road sign says "God is faithful" well bud God has a special place for you!! Came in on a warranty repair on an ac compressor. Engine bogs down when ac is turned on .No cold air .Owner proceeds to tell me that the fan isnt engaging. I said ok well shouldnt it blow cold when driving (fresh air moving threw the condenser) he looks at me and says are you a mechanic. I said yes sir. His response was why dont you fix it then... I said because its under warranty threw your shop .He says well your not gonna tell me how to do my job. I said i wasnt and i was asking his opinion. He closed the hood and walked away while rattling off about how good his shop is. This guy is a true j**** I wouldnt recommend using this shop period!!

I always get my cars back before they were promised, and no surprises when it comes to getting the bill. I wish all auto mechanic shops were like this.
