April 18th- Giving 3 stars because have been here many times, with better service. Our waitress was not attentive. We had to ask for everything- napkins, silverware, crackers, refills on our drinks and even then, didn't get a lot of it. She just seemed to ignore us. My friend ordered iced tea that looked more like water with a splash of tea. When questioned if that was tea, the waitress acknowledged that it was unsweet tea, but did absolutely nothing to make it right...NOTHING! I ordered a bowl of bean soup. It had good flavor, but very few beans, a little bit of sausage and was mostly broth! Sandwiches and desserts were good as usual, but this visit was disappointing. Unfortunately, it was the first time visit for my friend and she won't go back.

Best breakfast I've had along with the drink menu. It's a friendly staff and I love how intimate and small the environment is.

This is a hidden gem in Pasadena! It is a quaint cafe with AMAZING food! My boyfriend and I started with the brisket loaded fries....absolutely delicious! I had the grilled turkey and spinach panini and I added avocado and my boyfriend had the sycamore 2s which came with 2 eggs, 2 of your choice of meat, and 2 pancakes. The pancakes were divine and melted in your mouth. The service was great as well. Our waitress was very attentive even though they had a full house (literally...the cafe is a house ). You have to check this place out. The grounds are beautiful. They also have a bed and breakfast and a wedding venue onsite.

Great place for brunch. We enjoyed sitting outside. The service was great as well. Could use better tables as they have rust on them.

This is a hidden gem located in the older part of Pasadena. Super cute cottage style house turned into a restaurant. It has a country chic theme with a very cosy & quaint atmosphere. The house is small so seating is limited. Super delicious home style comfort food that will make you feel like you are at your Grandmas house. Excellent service & fair prices. Great place!

The place is like you are at your grandparents house to eat. It's an old house with a warm vibe. Food was very fresh. I ordered the tortilla soup and a chicken salad. Both were good, but the chicken they put on my salad did not look like the picture on the menu. It was a very small chicken breast. Other than that they had a good variety and the prices were reasonable. Service was friendly. I plan to return.

Great ambiance but food needs improvement. It's a cute little house in the middle of Pasadena. Very cozy. A+ for ambiance. But that's where the praise ends. My husband ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken was just frozen chicken breasts or tenderloins, reheated, and slapped on top of a waffle. I could have done a better job at home. Prices are low, for a reason. I ordered the chicken dumplings. I barely had any chicken in the soup, and just massive amounts of dumplings (bits of flour cooked in the soup). Not much carrots or celery either. I was just eating flour cooked in broth. I couldn't finish it. I arrived at the restaurant famished (since I went running that morning), left my bowl half empty, and left the restaurant still hungry.

The Pine Street Cafe was highly recommended so we gave it a try one Sunday afternoon. (They close at 2pm) we had a BLT and can say never had better! The service was great and the location quaint and CLEAN. WE'LL BE BACH!

I’m not sure if something was wrong with their pumps the day I was there or if this is an consistent problem but the pumps were going snail crawl slow. If you have an hour or two to spare come go by and fill up

My review stands, solid place with service. Last time I visited got the brie burger, chia pudding, meatloaf and chocolate creme pie. No faults! I will comment on the property. I took snapshots of the B&Bs and the quaint environment they provide.

It's a cute little place. Inside seating is limited and pretty tight. I always try to go on a day where I can sit outside. You're taking a chance, though. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but if you're not in a hurry and want a quaint little spot this is a good one. The food is good. Nothing to write home about, but good enough for me to return. It's a nice change once in a while.

Super cute place to eat! The waitress we had was nice and attentive. Ambiance was relaxing, we were sat inside, but outside looks super nice to eat too. Food was delicious! I had got the Benedict egg and potatoes with hot coffee. The eggs were definitely poochy

Hold onto your Tatas and mimosa glasses, because this brunch spot is about to flip your taste buds upside down and inside out! I walked into this place with an empty stomach and a heart full of hope, and let me tell you, I left with a food baby and a newfound appreciation for culinary wizardry. The menu read like a love letter to brunch itself, with options that made choosing as difficult as picking a favorite movie from your childhood. I mean, who knew that combining avocado, eggs, and a sprinkle of magic could result in such an ethereal experience for the taste buds?I ordered the "eggs benedict with a side of bacon," and I swear, when it arrived, angels might as well have sung a chorus. The poached eggs were so perfectly cooked, they must have gone through a boot camp to achieve that level of precision. And the hollandaise sauce? It flowed like a river of liquid gold, making me want to write it a heartfelt thank-you note. But that's not all - the pancakes! Oh, the pancakes were like fluffy clouds that had descended from brunch heaven. I felt like I was in a romantic comedy, having a moment with my food that Julia Roberts would envy. And the staff? Well, they were the real MVPs of the show. They danced around the tables with the finesse of professional salsa dancers, refilling coffee cups and making sure our food coma was nothing short of legendary. So, if you're looking for a brunch experience that'll make your taste buds break into spontaneous applause and your Instagram followers double-tap with envy, this is the place to be. Just remember to bring your appetite, and maybe a backup stomach - you're going to need it!#FeelinLiKeApregnantWalrus
