The employees are very nice and we are grateful to have a grocery store here on the "bad" side of town.

Great customer service. Just every time I go in the freezer are down and can't get nothing frozen. Other then that it's not a bad place to shop

I have not seen a Piggly Wiggly in 20 years. We stopped just because of that reason. The inside was neat. I had to take pictures of all the pig signs. I bought some groceries for our mini road trip, and we were back in the car. The employees were really nice, and I liked listening to the locals talk while waiting in line.

I'm glad Piggly Wiggly is back in Texas.I found this revival while cutting through town. This version of Piggly Wiggly is a cost plus format. So in a regular grocery store, the prices of the individual products are inflated to adjust for the store profit ex. Why some products are on sale or not even still price goes up and down. This version of Piggly Wiggly all products are sold at cost to the store with 10% added to the bill to go to the store operating cost. (See paper advertisement below)I recommend shopping here because of the same reasons the Piggly Wiggly lasted for so long in Denton. Sometimes you just want to get your groceries and go. I love to cook so I want to get my meals going for the next few days. In a supercenter I can buy everything but it takes time I don't have. If you can't get a spot up front you park in the back. Then you go through long aisles for basic ingredients. Then it's time to fight with the automatic check out before walking a ways back to your spot. This store is a small grocery store, I was surprised how clean and neat it was for such an old shopping center. They have a produce section and a decent meat market section. The staff is actually really friendly and there is no automatic check out, if you are missing the human connection stop by and say Hi.

Obvious that the Sav Alot chain owns them here in Texas. Sadly, they add a 10% shopping charge at checkout. Not the Piggly Wiggly we grew up with in the 60s.

I am very disappointed with how this store chose to handle the power outage and inability to use their credit card systems. Instead of having the decency to put up a note at the door to warn cashless customers they would not be able to purchase anything they let their customers shop and fill their entire shopping orders only to get up to the counter, wait in line and find out they wasted an hour of their lives for nothing. And when I questioned the lack of a note at the door I was met with a barrage of excuses, one being that a note makes customers not come inside. Well of course it does, they don't come inside because they have no way to pay! Piggly wiggly very clearly does not value their customers because if they did they would understand that their customers time is precious. I left over two hundred dollars in groceries behind and frankly I feel bad for the employee that has to put away all of those groceries, mine were not the only basket of groceries left behind at the register, thanks to poor management decisions. I sure as heck wasn't going to put them away I had to go to another grocery store and do my shopping trip all over again while the babysitter that I paid $10 an hour so I can feed my family was at home watching my children! Do better Piggly Wiggly Paris! Your poor management didn't just cost me valuable time, it cost me money too!!!

Excellent place to get cheaper food than usual grocery stores. Plus, it's the only 1 on the west side, which I highly appreciate.
