How is it UPS, FedEx, Amazon, DHL and any other delivery service can find the address where I'm at and the post office can't? Anyone know?

Leaving packages ontop of mailboxes by the street, with people stealing like they do its a bad odea to be doing that and we have comppained about it. One package left on the mailbox was a firearm. Imagine how bad it would be if that got stolen?
