I would like to take a moment to introduce my self to you, my name is Ryan i am the owner of Discount auto repair. I want to go over a review that was written by Danielle Chomicki. I am sorry for the bad experience you had with your vehicle. I strive to give the best customer satisfaction, but in some cases we might fall a little short, and i am sorry for that. I will always stand behind our work and i am never rude. Ms. Chomicki transmission was replaced, following those repairs car would not start, upon further diagnostic found bare wires to a connector. I had a electrical shop Rivera fix it for me after explaining everything to the customer my cost $300. did not charge customer. When repairs were finished car started right up and the Transmission worked perfect. I tried helping a customer out and get treated with disrespect. I cant please everyone i even took a picture of the harness was not broke just bare wires touching. Her Transmission has a 1 year warranty, but i am not responsible for bad wiring.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic. These guys replaced my engine and I have had nothing but problems from day one. The AC did not work after they were done even though it was flawless. When I dropped it off. They charged me $500 to fix it which I paid. I always had problems. There was a huge oil leak, charged me $150 to change a sensor. There was a scary vibration. I took it to another mechanic and it turns out they did not tighten the bolts where the transmission attaches to the engine. They also did not use gaskets or bolts on the exhaust manifold causing an exhaust leak and the inside of the car to fill with carbon monoxide. I have been to several different mechanics to fix their errors. It should be a red flag that they charge $50 an hour for warranty work.

I took my Pontiac Montana to Discount Automotive, after receiving 3 different quotes for having my transmission fixed. All 3 estimates ranged from $2,500 to $3,500. I chose Discount Automotive due to the honest approach they took. They told me that they could not give me an exact amount until they actually tore it down to see what was actually wrong. Long story short… they were able to replace/ fix the problem for just a little over $800. I feel so blessed that a friend of mine recommended them. The owner and his staff were so kind and helpful. It’s just nice to see a company with integrity these days. Thank you Discount. I’ll be sure to recommend you to people I know that are need of any repairs.Service: Transmission

They towed my 07 Tahoe to their shop for a transmission repair. It was ready for pick within that week. I suggest that you bring your vehicle back as recommended, so they can inspect it. Ryan answered and returned any calls that I made. Thanks again!! ??????????

Other transmission shop wanted 3400 to fix trans, these guys said they didn't have to replace every part so only charged 1200. 90 day warranty. Great customer service

I’ve been there twice for the same issue and nothing has gotten resolved.. if you need a rebuilt transmission go somewhere else he only has one helper. They will keep your long enough to give it back with the same issue within a week. ????

Ryan takes care of you and makes sure you are happy. He put an engine in my 2010 HummerH3 back in August 2021. I Took my Hummer back for brake job and rotors in December 2021. Very happy with service, price, and professionalism.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I got my transmission done here replaced motor mounds a few other issues went from $900 to $1900 motor mounds are missing bolts transmission went out a week after i got it back put it back in the shop took a month to get it back got more issues that i already paid for doesn't answer my phone calls basically he dont wanna fix the issues because he already got paid to fix my car right and didn't DONT USE THIS SHOP he'll keep coming up with excuses about how hes so busy to fix whats wrong with your car that u already paid forService: Transmission

I found out I had a radiator leak on my 2008 Mazda CX-9 and thought it was just a hose. It turned out otherwise. There are many shops in our area and I had been using one in particular with a stellar reputation based on my online NextDoor neighbors.But after receiving a somewhat pricey quote from the aforesaid shop, I decided to shop around for a more affordable option (especially since I am semi-retired with limited income).I saw Discount’s sign as it’s in my area and called Ryan, the owner. He was very cordial and called me back with a quotation. It was almost 30% lower than my other garage. Ryan has been in the business a long time and came across as very knowledgeable to me. The next day I drover over to have the work done and Ryan himself gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was done. The work was completed in less time than I expected (2-3 hours).All-in-all it was a very good experience and I would recommend giving Discount Automotive Repair a try.
