Tortilleria Tamauilipas sells the best corn tortillas on South Texas ?This corn tortillas are available warm in stainless steel ice chests at most HEB stores ond some Meat Markets in the RGV. The bad texture and taste of the corn tortillas sold by other tortillerias is, because they are made using processed corn powder mix that is reconstituted with hot water. Tortilleria Tamauilipas buys the corn and they cooked it and make the corn dough using a stone grinder. This con tortillas are the real deal, period. ?

I just bought some at my HEB in Edinburg. I feel cheated as there were 13 tortillas that were oval in shape And a lot smaller than what they should be. I'm calling HEB tomorrow to let them know that You are cheating their customers.

This is a family owned business with the best tortillas and totopos anywhere in the Valley. Not only do they sell the tortillas in this location but also distribute to local grocers, including HEB.
