“I really like the findings at this location. Everything is organized to their possible extent. Not overflowing shelves you can go through merchandise without things falling off.”

“If you want to go thrifting in McAllen, this is the place. Clean, size and color coordinated with TONS of options. I come here all the time and each time I find something worth keeping in my closet/collection forever. Reasonable pricing, and the employees are well mannered! It's also usually very clean, unless you go in during super busy hours, but that's to be expected. Overall my favorite store to shop at in the valley, hands down.”

“Really interesting. They have a bunch of variety. Really like how they make their own clothing too . Only thing i didn’t like is the price. A little too much but that’s me. You really got to look for something that’s awesome and priced decently. They do offer 5$ and 10$ shirts though which is great. Would return every once in a while”

“Of course Goodwill is the place to go for super bargains and unusual pieces. While you shop you're saving money and you're also helping empower people with employment. It's a win, win, win.”

“Huge wall full of vintage and fairly recent books (unorganized). Lots of antique furniture, decorations, and tableware (some newer stuff towards the back) limited selection of clothing.”

“Never knew it was there , but they have awesome things . Even found my wife's wreath making supplies . Sorry to hear their closing . Just wish they had better parking .”

“It’s a nice little thrift store, with decent items. Lots of CDs VHSs, DVDs, and a few video games. The problem with this place however; is that it’s awfully small, and lots of people come and shop, crowding the place. The checkout lines are also long, and you’ll have trouble finding where the back of the line is. There is hardly any room to move around here, much less any room for the employees to stock and organize the shelves. Perhaps the owners should invest in a location with a bigger building and a bigger parking lot as well. The former Kmart in Mission or the site of the former McAllen south side Kmart building on south 10th street, could probably do the trick.”

“Nice staff. Pretty clothes. I believe they could do SO MUCH cheaper, since it does not stop being a thrift store. Great location. Good deals for students on Wednesdays”

“Inventory always changing. Often can find deals on things needed for projects around home. Lots of hardware, fixtures, windows and more. Also surprised they have glossy decorations, dishes and books.”

“Love to thrift here, on Wednesday everything is 1/2 off on clothing, pretty cool, some reviews say is expensive, it's about helping, not donating cents. Like how they renovated the building, and how clean and organize is. Never been to the other side, but they do help many people and that is pretty amazing.”

“I love Texas Thrift for all the bargains I've found through the years, but my most pleasant experience was yesterday (Memorial day)when I approached Register 1 with M. IBARRA. I asked if they made exceptions for the handicapped, as I have extreme neuropathy in my legs and I'm unable to stand for long periods of time in long lines. He didn't give it a second thought and rang up my merchandise. I am extremely grateful for his immediate response to my needs, and I wanted to thank him from the bottom of my heart. ...⚘️”

“Wouldn't call this a thrift store at all. Even a used book was $10. This store is more like an outlet store with its discounted name brands. Despite high prices though, they don't allow trying on clothes.”
