This is a wonderful little shop. I was blown away with the excellent customer service. The woman who runs the shop was very friendly and knowledgeable about what she sells. She is 100% honest about any damage on items and even discounts them accordingly. This is a welcome change. Seldom do many antique store owners actually care about what they sell anymore and most only care about the money and would be happy to try to sell you damaged items at full price. It's also cool that postcards are still sold here, you don't see them sold often these days. A really great place to shop and we will shop here again for sure!

This is one of the best antique stores I’ve ever been in, and I’ve been in many. She has the neatest collection of children’s antique toys, among other things.I grew up around antiques and I saw many things in her store that I’ve never seen before. This is a great little shop to check out! I highly recommend it.

This was a pretty fun store with an amazing selection of vintage and antique items most at fairly reasonable prices. I have noticed them on the main strip in downtown Palestine but had never stopped in before. Upon entering the store I was very impressed with the warm greeting I received. I find it kind of sad that I get impressed these days at simple common courtesies but that is what it has become in this world today in many instances. The shopkeeper then asked if there was anything in particular I was looking for and when I stated that I was just looking around I was told to make myself at home and let her know if there is anything that she could help me with. I found a few things in the store at prices so good that I purchased them to resell. Well this was my first stop at the antique Depot this will certainly not be my last.

Prices need to be cut 20% to be competitive. Well organized. Owner is considering retirement - 50% cut would be fun shopping. Antique store a street over; reasonable prices and stacked w stuff.
