I've been working out of town so haven't been coming for groceries here in Palestine. Headed to town to my favorite store, well it used to be. The carrots were slimy in the bags had to ask for several items in the meat department, they had them they just werent put out. Then finally when I checked out a melon rang up for 4.99 instead of what is was marked at 1.99 and the tenderized steak that was supposed to be on sale didn't ring up. One of the little cashiers argued with me. They used to walk the buggy out now they don't do that will not go back . The manager did reduce the price of the melon but they never put it back in my sack but charged me for it . so Disappointed

A great place to get gas. I always feel safe here. AND...if you shop at Brookshire's Grocery Store...you could save on your gas! Brookshire's is a GREAT company to do business with!

Having moved from DFW area to Athens, TX I was so pleased to find this jewel of a store just 30ish miles away. I go weekly and have nothing but great experiences and products. Our faves are zucchini bread, chicken salad, twice baked potatoes, meatloaf, salsa, etc. Their marinated beef and chicken fajita meats are so delicious! I also love the pre-cut produce (although a little pricey). The employees are super helpful and courteous.

Food at the Fresh Grill. Hamburger was fantastic... unfortunately I ordered the chicken sandwich. When I picked up the food it was so close to closing I didn't have them redo the order. My wife's shrimp tacos were overdone and missing the sauce which they provided when she asked. Her rice was pretty dry and my sweet potato fries were frankly just burned up. Two stars bumped to a three because the burger was so good.

Nicest grocery store I have ever been in. Even nicer than central market in my opinion. I am obsessed with H-E-B but even I have to admit that FRESH is AWESOME. H-E-B still wins because of their admirably lower prices. Our grocery bill would be dramatically more by shopping at FRESH.

Catered a party with BBQ. Boneless, skinless smoked chicken was dry, gray, and inedible. Pies were not correct and close to date. Potato salad and coleslaw were good. I would never order their BBQ. Go with something else!

So happy this place is here in Tyler. I love the selection and choices of cheese, meat, seafood, wine, and exotic fruits. I need to come back to try some of the food they make here. Parking can be a hassle because the place is always so busy. I've driven by a couple times and see the live music they have.
