The place is welcoming, with people as friendly as could be, offering great food and fellowship. It has a full assortment of supplies and all the essentials, from drinks to dry goods to feed for cattle, making it a convenient stop. The grill serves wonderful food, including the best Wagu beef cheeseburger, which is seasoned and cooked to perfection and super reasonable. The menu also features delicious chicken and dumplings, a top shelf bacon Wagu cheeseburger with okra, and amazing BBQ sandwiches. They have different specials every day, like chicken fried steak, and uncommon varieties of Dublin Sodas. Located between Palestine and Athens, it is certainly worth the drive from wherever you live. This little jewel is the best kept secret of Bois d'Arc, and visitors will be surprised and glad they went.

They cook delicious chicken and dumplings. They also have wonderful sandwiches. It has a full assortment of supplies for those of that live outside of Athens and Palestine. I love driving 15 minutes instead of 30 to get milk or bread. It is a truly awesome country store that caters to us that live in the country!

The best Wagu beef cheeseburger I have ever had and super reasonable. I spent a little over $11 for the burger, tots and a drink. This place is the best kept secret of Bois d'Arc.
