I assure you that any negative review by Jim Searles are unwarranted about this winery. I was noticing his vodka and orange juice debauchery before the visit to Cassaro. He then proceeded to take the microphone on the bus out of my hand. For a man that boasts of his credentials he acted on the occasion as a total fool.I recommend this winery as one of the best in Texas being the most accomplished wine tour guide in the state. The wines are second to none. And the people are A list. Aloha

Not only is the wine outstanding, the staff has always made me feel at home. Thank you Joe for making Harry & I feel like we’re as part of the family as Terri & Bob. ?

Very unwelcoming atmosphere. Owners sons are pouring wine and create that environment. Feel like our tour group was a nuisance. Would not return.

We enjoyed our visit in late February and purchased a bottle of Dolcetto to take home. It was carbonated when we opened it. I hear that bottled fermented wine can be dangerous.

This is such an amazing family owned winery. They make their own wine which is extremely good!! The customer service is superb. Great place to stop in for a glass and stay for the atmosphere, bites, music and conversation.

Really good wine, great ambiance and our host was a blast. Definitely a place to hang on a weekend night when Texas weather cools down.

You would be remiss if you were in the area and didn't stop by (heck, you'd be missing out if you WEREN'T in the area and didn't go out of your way to stop by!)Great ambiance, fabulous drinks and fantastic small plates to pick on while you try different wines made ON SITE! I was so impressed with the attention to detail and loved that it is truly a family run business. Our family will plan another get together there soon!

Had a lovely time with friends from The Luxe Of Cedar Hill. The only problem were the flies while we were outside. We walked to an area that was partially screened and made it much better. Bring small paper plates if you order the charcuterie boards because the napkins aren't sufficient. Wish they provided small paper plates. There was a one person band that played nice music. The wine was good. Inside seating is also available. Good casual place to just sit and mingle.

I have been a wine club member of this winery since October 2020. I went to pick up my wine club bottles and I wanted to upgrade a bottle to another one, and they told me I could not. I informed them that this has been done before and charged for it. I wasn't looking for anything free, but the treatment I received was beyond bad.first they acted like I was lying, but then they wanted to make me feel like I was wrong for asking to pay more for another bottle instead of just taking what they gave me. I am quite offended and it's unfortunate because I really like the owner and this place. How unfortunate he didn't pass down his customer service and the understanding of upselling a product. Rudeness is never the answer and I have cancelled my winery club membership!

Excellent winery, wines, and food to go along with a gathering. Plenty of great seating options indoors and outdoors. If you haven’t been you should definitely check it out!

First time here, showed up with our neighbors. Cozy inside with room to sit and relax and enjoy some very great tasting reds and whites. The large charcuterie board was just that. It was nice that the owner, who was a great host, showed us about some of the pairings. The cheese into the honey followed by a sip of the classic. That was my favorite. He mentioned other fun events they host all year long. Can't wait to go back nice and close from Midlothian.
