I used to shop here & spend about $200-$250 a week on groceries. I knew Brookshires was really expensive but I didn't mind because they had excellent customer service, it is close by & they ALWAYS took your groceries out. The lack of customer service & the fact they no longer carry out your groceries (they will just look at you as you take them out!!) made me stop going. I now save $75-$100 a week by doing grocery pickup at Walmart!! I didn't realize Brookshires was so high!! It is still nice to have a local grocery store for emergencies. Just be sure to watch the dates on the meat - ALWAYS CHECK THE DATES, they usually have expired food on the shelf & the produce is usually terrible, I don't think they know how to cull produce. The managers they have right now are really nice & friendly & I appreciate the gluten free products they carry.

5 star store as always! Very clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, produce always looks AMAZING, and the prices are excellent.

Still not use to this stores set up but they always have the pickle loaf my husband likes in the deli. That's a plus for us

Cashiers and customer, were no that welcoming what's so ever. I'm a Hispanic, and i got alot of stares, and I was not comfertable.
