“We ended up having to stay here for 2 nights while waiting for a pilot car leaving Odessa. We stayed in the king suite with the full kitchen and we really liked the layout of the room. The large tv was also a bonus but it was not connected to the wifi so we were unable to stream to it which is a bit of a bummer but not a huge deal. The bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom was a bit rough though which is why I am only giving 4 stars. The tub didn’t drain properly, the shower curtain was barely long enough for the tub so it was hard to keep it in and the tiles were all coming up on the floor and missing grout. Other than that it was great.
They also let us park our semi (bobtail) and we were able to have our cat in the room which an extra fee and both of those things were hard to find in the area.”
“I had the most convenient room! Out of all the IHG hotels that I had ever stayed… this one is the least stressful location.
The goods:
1) Room assigned was on the first floor conveniently located directly to the breakfast buffet, ice machine and the exit route to my car.
2)Large parking lot—Trailers, RVs, trucks, whichever… there was plenty of parking space on a late Saturday night.
3)Right next to a gas station— gas, snacks, drinks etc..
The bad:
1) It was past 10pm and the pool was still filled with people being loud…
2) The floors in the common area were wet from the pool goers. There was no yellow sign up… I almost slipped when trying to get hot water for my ramen noodles—-that would’ve been a bad night.
Overall it was a good location and hassle free…great for a quick overnight stay.
Walkability: Put floor wet sign up! Someone can really get hurt!”
“Rooms are clean & just fine, good location.Just a few small complaints: 1) Complementary breakfast that is supposed to start at 6am wasn't even close to set up by 0630 2) Ice machine just... missing? 3) They get you for $2/ wash, $2/ dry, which is very petty, but then brag that they don't have any quarters, so you have to hunt all over town for change 4) When I checked in, they make you sign in for an addt'l $25 daily mystery fee that the front desk can't explain.”
