I've tried to order the same textbook twice and they cancelled for "a card issue" twice and DIDN'T send the notification email until I called and questioned. I used PayPal & it drafted from my account BOTH times and then the issued a credit a week later so clearly not an issue of sufficient funds. I don't even know why this bookstore exists. Very useless. UTPB should probably just shut this pathetic attempt down.

It’s unfortunate that I even have to leave this review however due to the lack of customer service I have to leave this. The bookstore would not receive my textbooks because they were a little late because of personal issues. They charged me full price for books that are not worth the amount! It’s a shame because I tried to do things the nice way however they wouldn’t accept my return. Do NOT use them! They will screw you over any chance they get!

I called pertaining to purchasing my cap and gown for my graduation ceremony. The woman who picked up is named Olivia and she was terribly rude, she couldn’t hang up the phone faster. Terrible customer service, you think they would try to be helpful and make the experience smooth and pleasant for a graduating student but she didn’t want to help at all.

Lost my grad gown, gave me the wrong color stole and pushed me towards wearing the wrong gown. When I asked which was the color for my college they did not know.

Since I have transferred to this university, this bookstore has the worst customer service. I have called many times during their open hours and I never get an answer. I have also gone in and still did not have good customer service. I have gone 2 weeks with classes and had NO BOOKS! This place is a joke!

I went in this morning to purchase 4 books for my science classes however i did not have enough money to purchase all of them. The girl at the cash register told me she will save them for me until the end of the day so i can come back and purchase them that day. i told her okay and that i will come back at 1 to purchase them. I came back at 12:30 and told another girl at the cash register that my books should be here from this morning and when she went to the girl that told me she would save them all day for me the girl said that thy are not there and that they had been put back. i had to go find my books again and one of my chemistry books was sold out which wouldn't have been a problem if she had just saved them like she told me she would. i had to pre-order the book online and was informed it will be in my hand by the end of next week, the issue is i need that book NOW and the girl did not keep her word on saving the books for me like she had originally suggested this morning. really disappointed.

It’s stressful dealing with this place. Staff is plain RUDE so I had to ask for a manager.I paid for two NEW books but what I received were USED RENTAL books with a huge rental sticker on them.The late return fees on the other books are OUTRAGEOUS. $200+?? Really?Do yourself a favor and order from Amazon. Books are WAYYY cheaper to rent/purchase. Graceful return dates as well.

The bookstore was unable to supply my textbooks until the third week of class. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.

If you order your books before the semester starts. It takes for ever to get them. I got them after we already covered the material in class. They didn't want to give me a refund.
