This place has really gone downhill since the change in management I've been buying here for years but today I purchased some items and was over charged never left the store and was unable to get my money back. the items price had gone up but there was no indication of this anywhere in the store. waited 30 minutes for the manager to get back to the store only to be treated rudely and say that all sales are final and that we have to ask for prices of each individual item that prices may not be what they were previously marked. Been shopping here weekly for years but won't visit again.

Well that trip was a disappointment. Not much selection and priced way to high. Used and given Free. I find they should be more reasonable. The store is much cleaner and more organized. Reason for 2 stars. I do donate here because they actually help our community. I understand there is over head costs. But the merch is free. No cost there. I'm just not willing to pay new prices for used stuff.I am Sorely dissatisfied.....mm:(

They are never open when I try to go shopping there, I just left there because they kicked us out so they could go to lunch when they barley opened 2 hours ago! Then they will close 2 hours after they get back from that one hour lunch!! Why do they even bother opening at all?!

The close whenever they feel like it, not keeping posted hours. Better off shopping somewhere else.

I took clothing to donate. Was greeted with “what do you got?†Question with attitude. Clothing I said. The guy showed me his truck full of clothing donations. I said: do you want it or not? Not really he replied. It is ok, but simply say we are not accepting clothing donations, save the attitude, I can take it elsewhere, just do not make people feel bad for trying to help.

One of my favorite places in Odessa to find hidden treasures, cheaper than other thrift stores.

I am not a fan of most charities, especially the larger ones. It seems like the bigger they get, the bigger the salary is for the 'executives'. I have always supported the Salvation Army, I used to volunteer with my dad for years, and was planning to volunteer to be a bell ringer this year. There is a cap on salaries, even for those at the top. They run the homeless shelter here, and do a lot of good for the community. I encourage people to donate here, and shop here when they can. The last time I went in to give a donation, I had two large bags from The Buckle full of folded men's dress shirts that my husband had "outgrown". When I was driving, one of the bags tipped over and spilled, so I was folding them back after I parked in the donation area. The lady came out of the back, and briskly told me 'we can't take them like that'. I asked her, like what? They are laundered, folded and cleaned, what is wrong with them? Then she replied, 'matter of fact, we can't take anything, we're full'. Not so friendly, and it's not as if I was dumping ripped or stained clothes out of the back of a truck! So, they don't need any help, they don't want donations, good to know. Take your donations in the big pink boxes (you know the ones, they say something about breast cancer on the front..btw, they go to Mexico :) The Salvation Army apparently doesn't need your support.
