I come from a town of 55,000 people that being said odessa is much larger so you would think they would have a little larger store and more work force to choose from prices are a little high compared to other goodwills...donation drop off has their door closed and you have to wait for them to see you on "camera" to open the door if that is true why take so long to open I just don't like this store employee's are rude with the exception of one girl...I will go to salvation army on 42nd the lady is really nice....and I don't need some generated bull about "we donate
87 cents of every dollar"...
Won't be back to this goodwill...rude

I went to this location and found a Barbie house , I took it to the counter to purchase it . After I purchased it the manager came and said “that price is not right” and told me I had to return the item or pay the original price (which was not on the Barbie set). The manager stated maybe someone switched the tags , possibly implying I did and I told her to check the cameras and she will see that is the sticker I found on it . She did not check the cameras and still demanded I return the item that I already paid for . Although I could have easily walked out with the items I purchased I let them do a return due to their own mistakes . That was not only unfair to me , but truly embarrassing. This goodwill needs better training for customer service !

This Goodwill is clean, well managed and they have very nice merchandise. The staff and manager are very helpful and friendly.
I've been to 15 Goodwill stores in Texas and this is the only one I've been to that actually puts out more items, like they are supposed to, daily.
NOTE: One thing I have noticed they could improve on is their prices on shoes and boots are extremely higher than all of the other Goodwill stores I've shopped at. A pair of boots that are $20.00 at other Goodwill stores are $49.00 to $59.00 at the Odessa store. I've even seen some boots as high as $79.00.
I understand their mission and purpose, but I believe lower prices in this area would actually increase traffic in the store and result in more sales volume, better profits and greater customer satisfaction.

This place is a joke. Everything is so overpriced. Selling illegal items. Selling used biohazard items that should be in medical waste. Don't go here!

Well, I am very happy with GoodWillIn my opinion I have found very good and cheap things, in fact I am on my way, every time I come to Odessa it is my essential place to arrive. Very satisfiedAnd on one occasion I forgot my wallet and after 6 days I was on my license and I couldn't find my wallet and I remembered where the last time I used my card was, I called and there they had my wallet with everything there and with my money intact.Very honestVery good team of workers at GoodWill

Goodwill, a place meant for the poor and charging new prices for other people’s old junk. Corporate greed at its finest.

I was thrown off by the other review saying there were such expensive prices, but I went today and there were so many great things for amazing prices. I was also very happy with the costumer service here as well, very nice workers.

Do not shop here. More affordable thrift stores in town. I came here about 7 months ago and it's just over price so I said I wasn't gonna go back . But unfortunately I need some blankets due to family members living with me, And I needed something that was pretty reasonable so I thought oh just go to the goodwill and get some blankets thinking maybe I'll pay like $5 maybe a little bit more for a blanket no 29.99 for a used, old blanket. They should be ashamed of themselves I do understand that they are trying to help people but this is a for profit thrift store they do have the community but look at their CEO status status.Everything in the store is over priced even a plastic bowl that you can get at Walmart for 50 cents they wanted a dollar for $8 dollars for the old baking dishes that you can buy for $10 at Walmart Brand new. I have been to other cities with goodwill that is more reasonably priced with the ones over here in Middletown Odessa thanks this donated 100% donated items are worth brand new prices dait says they need to train these people how to price their items accordingly it's accordingly this is not a brand new item that I would walk into a store a retail store such as Walmart target JC Penney's and pay for this is a used thrift store that I'm expecting to pay a lot less money for these items that are used sometimes not in great condition and they're wanting $30 for a blanket that's old as hell and raggedy. I'm sorry but I just will not be going back here I would rather go to The Salvation Army or even door of hope there's even I think the Catholic charities is a little bit more expensive one too but even there better than the goodwill. I don't always buy stuff from these stores but right now I'm on a budget due to new family members in my home my home and I was just looking for a couple of blankets that I could purchase and wash at a reasonable prireasonable price and no I'm just gonna go to target or to big lots or somewhere else and buy them brand new because that's the prices that they're selling these used blankets for. I just actually bought twin sheets at target for $9.50 plus tax and I bought a comforter set with blankets and everything I paid $30 that was with sheets blanket everything Brand new. So I guess people are also putting negative reviews the reviews on Google so you can actually place a Google review right now I tried. I tried also to update my previous previous Google review. And it will not let you. They have responded to me and 2 several other people saying but they're sorry that 87 cents of their dollar amount goes to helping the community, I want to see the numbers where that's true , even if it is true overpricing things is just greedy.
