I had an Express Overnight FedEx box to ship out. When I took my box to send off at the Walgreen’s drop off for FedEx, I was told I would not be given a receipt to show that it was dropped off and would only receive a text when it was picked up the next day. So I would have no proof that I dropped off the box that evening If it came up missing between the time it was dropped off and picked up. The weird thing, the FedEx site says I should get a receipt. Not even FedEx wants to take responsibility if the item is missing, but has no problem expecting the customer too at it’s drop off place. A simple text to show it was dropped off shouldn’t be too complicated. I wasn’t about to leave an expensive item with no proof to sit overnight at Walgreens. The box was prepaid by another company, so it wasn’t my choice to use FedEx and I certainly won’t be using FedEx in the future on my dime.
