IF you are looking for Caribbean/Latino foods fresh or frozen this is a great place to go. Very wide assortment of mainly Caribbean type foods, spices, snacks even some hard to find fruits/vegetables. Recently they added a small Café with a variety of hot meals ready to eat. Only a few small tables so some may prefer take home but either way they have some great tasting dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. A monster Cuban sandwich as well as some high octane Cuban Coffee are worth a try. Recommended!!

Bueno diversidad de cosas para comprar y buenisima comida en el restaurante. El arroz congri y la ropa vieja esta de show. Pero ya varias veces compre aguacates y estaban malas..y nunca se hicieron verdes.. en vez estaba podridas con la semilla como con un hongo. Y las quenepas malas tambien. Y una vez compre queso rallado y tenia hongo.

Amazing place. We got a tamale, their shredded beef and their pork cubes. All was great but the park was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

I’m a Fan of the regular store to get our Latin Products that aren’t available at a regular store, everything is fine on that part.
Reason I’m giving a 1 star review is for the RESTAURANT food tastes really good but those prices are outrageous just paid $24 for some Congri Rice with Carne Frita and plantains, the flavor is good!!!! But those prices won’t make me come back, probably won’t matter since I’m just one person, but y’all need to make a combo instead of selling everything separate which is ridiculous, with that same $24 I could of had had lunch/dinner for 2 persons at a steak house! Fix them prices please!!! remember we’re Latinos , we can cook at home but is good to invest on others business to keep them sustainable but don’t be abusive with the pricing that will make customer go away instead of recommending your business to others!!

In the market you get literally everything you need from Puerto Rico. Everything organized, clean and excellent staff. Now, the cafeteria is different. They open the cafeteria at 9:00 am too. I have been there several times now at 9:30-10:30 am and they have fried foods but they are completely raw inside. Especially the potato fillings. They are literally a stone of ice. If they open at 9:00 am, they should start cooking at 8:00 am calmly and have someone who knows. Even the croquettes are cold inside. The cafeteria has a lot to offer, but they definitely need a new chef. If not, they are going to lose business and it would be a shame because those of us who live in this area need something like this. The girl who runs the cafeteria, very friendly by the way, once told me that they leave them a little raw so that they can be cooked in the display case, but that is impossible because there is nothing there to finish cooking the fries, especially inside. . We also ate lunches and those were very good, especially the old clothes. The one who is failing is the one who cooks the fries.
