Cornerstone saved our dog Entei's life ❤️ Their team and expertise saved him. Entei has had a rough couple of years, and we would do anything to make his life better. Cornerstone brought back hope into our spirits from the first day we brought Entei there. He has had two surgeries with them, and multiple office visits. The staff are kind, understanding, compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and you can tell everyone loves what they do. Entei loves going the vet to see his friends (especially Aaron)!! Entei gets better with each visit at Cornerstone. I'm SO grateful we found them, and wish we had found them sooner. They have also seen our other fur-son Koji ( a husky who isn't exactly a people person) and they have managed to win him over. Thank you Cornerstone from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful care your team has given our boys. Entei, Koji and the Villa family love yall very much. ❤️

It has been a long time since I have been able to truly say I could trust any one let alone a VET to care for my baby - I have had so many bad experiences , but today when I went on for my appointment expecting no less than mediocre care - I was met with a amazing staff that was smiling and happy for me to be there - and to top off what was already going surprisingly a young man named Aerin was my dogs vet tech - he not only treated my baby as if it was his own but he treated me and my family like we were his family as well - he never once made me feel judged or like i was doing something wrong but walked me through every single thing that we had to do and when i asked questions answered with such sweet and non judgmental ease - DR.FINE i don't know what you are paying this amazing soul but it's not near enough - I even saw him out in the lobby when we were leaving hugging and consoling some clients who looked like they had just gotten some bad news - CORNERSTONE ANIMAL HOSPITAL you have erased 40 years of my families bad vet experiences and we will be back for the rest of our dogs life and so will my friends and family - Thank you

In rebuttal to the docs reply. Sir, I never wanted to give half doses. I wanted to give split doses. Do you understand the difference between those words? And is it really wise to give vaccines when a pet has a dental infection or is not in good health? Anyway, I was able to go to another vet hospital who allowed me to do things more safely and I was able to get the dental cleaning done. They did a great job. So, I spent over a thousand dollars, elsewhere. Perhaps next time, come speak to your clients yourself instead of hiding, and maybe things won't be lost in translation. And the word split means to take a normal dose and split it into to two separate shots. The full dose is given, but at 2 different times. I understand not every drug can be done this way, but some vaccines can.. The word half, means half, as in half of the normal or therapeutic dose is not at all what I had requested. Ergo, lost in translation.

Took my fur baby in for her new puppy check. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They had written info about everything I asked. Pricing was better than expected. I highly recommend Cornerstone.

We have been a long time, customer, primarily for grooming services, and we have been treated so well by Tony and team. But I’m sad to report that today was probably one of the worst customer experiences we have had. They tried to upsell a Bordetella shot, and when I told them that they already had it, They asked for the veterinarian to verify. That is good due diligence. In my opinion.. But when my wife went to pick up our dog, they gave it to our dog anyway and charged us for it. Getting two of those shots so close together is never good for a dog, and then the way they handled it so defensively and disrespectfully with my wife, this will be our last time visiting CornerStone. They were determined to be right, and the welfare of our dog was never even discussed.

Fantastic staff. Seriously. I don’t give 5’s often but they deserve it. On the phone or in person they were top notch. All of them (talked to maybe 5 people). We were there for boarding and grooming. They are one of only two places in the area willing to give our dog her insulin shots.

Our Labrador was treated on multiple occasions by the veteranarian and he never seemed confident in his diagnoses. He also referred us to another veterinarian who treated allergies the dog had. Lot of money was spent but the dog never got much better. Some of the staff is quite rude and once when I went in the exam room was not cleaned even though we were told to enter. (Feces on the floor) Please, if you care about your pet, choose a better veterinary office. BTW, the review is genuine.

Excellent staff. They were so kind & gentle with our cat when he wasn't feeling well. They do a wonderful job of explaining all the procedures, and scheduling quickly.

No stars for this terrible practice and neglectful person who should not be practicing veterinary medicine. I filed a complaint against Mr. Thomas with TBVME which is a long process but the investigation part is closed now so I feel like I can warn and prevent other people from choosing this place to take their pets. No matter what the outcome is the bottom line is my sweet Luna is dead due to the negligence of Mathew Thomas and his staff. He does not deserve to have the credentials behind his name and to be called a Dr of Veterinary Medicine. Luna, my cat, came in for a sedation grooming and teeth cleaning. They called to say she needed 3 teeth extracted around 10:30 am. I was shocked because she was only 5 yrs old but they said it was normal. They said she should be ready around 2:00. I never heard from them so I called at 3:00 and they said she was taking a little longer to wake up so it would be better to pick her up around closing time. I was there at 5:00 and they had an e-collar on her and already put her in her kennel. She couldn't move around because of the collar and it was hard to get a good visual look at her through the kennel. They said she did great with no complications. When I got her home and took her out of the kennel, she fell over. She was completely ataxic and her eyes were completely dilated. My poor Luna was blind and had neurological deficits and this is how they sent her home! At first I thought it was just the anesthesia and my husband convinced me to wait and see how she was doing in the morning and if she wasn't better we would take her back in the morning. The next morning she was exactly the same and had urinated all over herself. We took her up there in the morning and I told my husband I did not want to leave her there no matter what. Mathew Thomas looked at her and agreed she was not acting normal. Really??? That's how you sent her home!! Of course they convinced my husband that it would be best to keep her there so they could monitor her and give her fluids. Not once did they update me on her condition that day. I had to call them every time. First time the tech Jessica, said she was doing a little better and she would call back in a couple hours (this was around 10:00 am). Finally, I called them around 2:00 because I never heard from them and they put me on hold and the tech got on and said that they had given Luna some food and stepped out for lunch and while they were gone she aspirated on her food and they tried to resuscitate her per Mathew Thomas orders (he wasn't even there supposedly) and she passed away. She apologized and said that he was going to call me after he got back from lunch. So the death of my cat due to YOUR negligence during the grooming/dental and sending her home with obvious neurological deficits and the negligence of you not monitoring her the next day after you fed her when she couldn't even stand up which lead her to vomit and choke on it and die and taking the time to call me to communicate her death to me was less important than you eating your lunch??? Please, if you are considering taking your pet here, just don't...Especially if you have a cat. I learned so much about cats and dentals through the death of Luna and my own research. Ask questions!! Ask if they use mouth gags (which they did). Ask how long and how wide they prop their mouth open because if they have it opened too wide for too long it will cut off the main artery that sends blood flow to their brain and optic nerve which can cause neurological deficits and/or death. It took several months for me to write this review because it's still painful to think about and have to re-live by writing this and also because he was under investigation but I don't want Luna's death to be in vain so if we can save any other cats from future dental tragedies due to lack of knowledge and negligent people like Mr. Thomas then this review served it's purpose. Also, shame on you Mr. Thomas and I pray TBVME makes the right choice and keeps Texas pets a little safer

I rescued a cat that had a wond already that wasn't properly taken care of when he was in foster care . I was recommended to this vet from my mother in law , it's always nerve racking bringing your fur baby in the vet just as it is for your fur baby they went above and beyond to make sure I'm Comfortable with the whole process of caring for my cat. I would highly recommend this vet. Thank you all for giving me and lucky great customer service
