“We were traveling from Shreveport, LA to Caprock Canyon, TX (8+ hour drive) and our battery light came on. A parts store was in sight so we pulled in and had the battery and alternator checked and was told we needed to get to a repair shop ASAP because the alternator was in horrible condition (and by the time we made it to Nocona Muffler, it had died completely).Luckily Nocona Muffler was less than half a mile down the road. It was late afternoon (around 3:30pm) so there wasn't anything we could really do that day, especially because our Dodge Caliber is a nightmare to work on engine-wise. We got a room at the Red River Station Inn and had a pleasant stay. It was around 3pm the next day they had us fixed and back on the road.The guys there were very friendly and warm, and I never felt at any point like I was trying to be taken advantage of. The pricing was reasonable and since we were out of town and traveling they made a point of trying to get to as soon as they could.We were very pleased with the service, the work, and the promptness.We were incredibly lucky not only to have had the light come on when it did (we were about to a stretch of road where no other towns would have been within many many miles), but to have had it happen so close to this shop.Services: Engine repair”
