I gave five stars because I'm the small town of Newton TX there is a brookshire Brothers and a Dollar general and a family Dollar the family Dollar by far is the less expensive and the customer service also seems to be well I've only been there once so the future will tell check back for updates thank you y'all have a blessed day

It is a typical dollar store but the staff are pleasant. I don't like that they ask your birthday when purchasing alcohol. It has to be entered into the till to put the sale through.

extremely rude. i went there a couple nights ago for snacks and the employees were standing around talking , i had no clue they were fixing to close since there was another customer in the store. then one of them literally screams “we’re closed” so i walk to the check out and ask them can they ring me up or do i need to put my stuff back and they ignore me.. i’m standing there just wondering what their problem is and she says “what’d you say” so i repeat myself and “yeah but you better come right now” so one of them is ringing me up while the other employee has been holding the door open for me the whole entire time i was being checked out. this is even after i apologized and said that i didn’t know they were fixing to close.
