This company shows up 4 hours late. When I asked them how to do the job when there is no light. They just left. If you use this company, you will regret. NEVER use this company - this is the MOST unprofessional mover I had ever met.

I started not to write anything, but I feel like people need to be warned. I hate writing negative reviews but this is costing us a LOT. Our move was back in January from a house to a storage facility. To say the least.. it was a hot mess. We had a supervisor and two workers. Throughout the ENTIRE move the two workers argued about how to do things, how it needed to be stacked in the storage unit, etc. My husband was upstairs with them but down the hall and started hearing things being tossed around, dropped in frustration while they argued so he went around the corner to see what was going on and called me to get the supervisor who was downstairs unloading the truck. During the elevator ride to that floor he told me that this is not the first time they've done this and one of them, who was a relative of his, tends to have anger issues. I was going to go back downstairs and one of the boys got on the elevator and started cursing and complaining about the "People" (my husband and I) saying that he wasn't doing his job until he realized that I was one of the people... then he shut up. The two boys should've never been put working together. Their bickering and the supervisor's lack of supervision between the two drug out our time... finally I said this has to stop it's causing us to pay WAY more than we anticipated and NOTHING was finished. All of our furniture and items were strewn down the hallway of the storage unit... it was just a mess! I say all of that to say this... today we had a different company move us out of the storage and into our new home. They carefully took each piece of furniture out and WE inspected it and EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE was SCRATCHED UP, DENTED and my sewing desk had the TOP BROKEN OFF OF IT with a hole in it!!! Needless to say.... we will NEVER use this company again. God help whoever does if they get this crew. Be prepared to replace most if not all of your belongings. If I could give negative stars I would.

The gate doesn't want to open ever. The entry is to small for some trailers. There is no paved areas so it's muddy. There are rats and rodents everywhere. And there is always break one.

Horrible unit. Moisture problems, break ins, refuse to notify clients of break ins, refuse to fix damaged unit after break in. It's a scam.

Multiple break ins with its aluminum latches so it doesn't matter how secure of a locks (Multiple) you put on a 17 year old with a crowbar can easily get in. Management refuses not notify clients of break ins. They even refused to apologize when your broken into. Your stuff will be stolen here I promise you.

If we could give 0/5 stars, we would. I would like to preface this review by saying, we have utilized this moving company on numerous occasions over the last few years and recommended them to anyone who needed movers, but after this experience we will never use them again. We were scheduled for two movers to arrive between 8-9 am to move a standard 2x2 apartment. Our movers did not arrive until 11:45 am. Then, they proceeded to take 7.5 hours to complete a move 3.0 miles away and complained about the moving process for the duration of time they were "completing" our move. In addition, the seven of us present (residents and family) had to physically assist in helping speed along the movers. We were active participants in unloading the truck and bringing items into the new apartment even though we hired the movers to do this for us. So, not only did the move take an outrageous and unrealistic amount of time, the movers did not perform the expected job themselves, and an extensive amount of damage to our property occurred as a result of their carelessness. Furniture was not wrapped. Furniture was drug along the floors of the garages and street. Boxes were destroyed. The movers were totally unprofessional and inept. We were provided a "discounted" rate of $75/hr rather than $85/hr in addition to the initial $65 fee for our "troubles," but even that was still too much. The total owed was more than double what was quoted initially. Additionally, communication with the movers day of was lousy. We were constantly reaching out to them asking for their ETA because they would not provide updates on their delay. Poor communication continued as we attempted to settle compensation with them after the fact. Damages and destruction of property exceeded $1,000.00, and we were only only compensated for a total of $174.00. We no longer recommend their services after this horrendous experience.

This company is very unprofessional. Not only did they block my handicapped parents driveway, but the neighbors they hired them are very unhappy. The movers refused to move their truck. My dad is on a walker and had to walk through the grass to get into his yard. The police were called and the company was cited and made to move. Poor service and very unprofessional!

Left scratches on my floors and walls and took out a chunk of the floor boards and every piece of furniture was scratched up. Not to mention the huge hole they put in my wall in my new home. Ridiculous.

Highly recommend New Caney Movers...extremely professional and detail oriented. They took the time to wrap every piece of furniture. I have moved a lot and have used many different movers. New Caney Movers is the best by far.

New Caney movers showed up on short notice and did a fantastic job in a timely manner! I got a discount price, but they worked so hard in spite of the discount!!! I was happy to tip well! I have moved all over Houston! To be honest, I'm pretty particular and usually have some problem with the movers by the end of the move! I will call New Caney movers again! Thank you!

Was close by. Prices were pretty consistent with other storage companies. Biggest complaint is that the location is flooded, ruining some of the furniture I had stored

In October of 2019, one of the doors on their truck hit my brother's vehicle while his truck was parked, which came out to over $900 in damages. Before my brother had a chance to speak with the driver, he took off. Robert, the owner, is now not wanting to deal with the matter. Bad for business.

I purchased a Groupon for New Caney Movers after hearing about them from a family member. I was hoping to have a similar experience. However, it was everything but. I was told they would arrive at 1 when I booked the appointment. I'm waiting around. Around 1:20, I call and they tell me the movers are behind schedule and that there is an window of 1-3. I asked specially when I made the appointment as I inquired about when the time would begin. I was then told my Penny that the movers would arrive at 3:30. Penny was very rude when I politely expressed my dissatisfaction with the lack of communication and respect for my time. She even asked if I would just like for them to cancel my move as if that would be a solution to my problem. That would clearly only make things worse. Fast forward hours later, they FINALLY arrive close to 6. The movers were very apologetic, which I appreciated. After they finished unloading, I noticed a whole in the couch, a broken leg on the couch, a cracked fish tank, and a missing box. They did do a claim on the couch. As for the missing box and fish tank, I guess I'm taking a loss. I called and emailed several times and Penny repeatedly states there is nothing she can do. I've never received such horrible customer service. If you want to be treated as a valued customer, I would suggest you go else. Definitely wouldn't recommend them in the future.
