Mistreated. Bad, bad, bad and bad. Madelyn Florez's customer service is unprofessional, she never looked me in the eyes while I was trying to address the situation, she already had an "answer" before the problem. This person (Florez) was charging me for a storage unit I didn't lease, stating I owed the 2 months rent, when I paid my 2 storages on time, and she expected me to pay the one she wanted me to, I have receipts on payments, put a lock on my storage unit, when it's paid on time. This person (Florez) was and is so unprofessional... Do not recommend this storage at all, NO!

Avoid This Storage Facility At All Costs !!
If you're in the market for a storage solution that combines incompetence with indifference, look no further than Storage King at New Caney, TX. This place has mastered the art of disappointing its customers in every possible way.
Firstly, their storage units are reminiscent of dungeons from a medieval castle—dark, damp, and completely unsuitable for anything remotely valuable. Don't even think about storing anything that might be affected by humidity or temperature changes if using storage outside.
Customer service? Ha! They redefine the term "abysmal." The staff here seem to have attended a crash course in ignoring customers' needs and requests. Whether you're trying to get assistance or simply seeking a bit of basic courtesy, expect to be met with blank stares and shrugs. It's as if they've taken a solemn vow to never provide useful information or solve any problems. The manager there, this lady does not listen to your complaints she just kick you out of the Bldg. she likes to humiliate people like me who served in the US Army and she didn't show respect to combat Veterans like me!
And let's not forget about their pricing strategy, which can only be described as a roller-coaster ride into bankruptcy. Prices are hiked up with the regularity of a Swiss clock, and for what? Certainly not for any noticeable improvement in service or facilities. It's almost as if they see their customers as walking wallets to be squeezed dry at every opportunity.
In summary, if you enjoy wasting money on subpar storage units while being treated like an inconvenience by clueless staff, then by all means, give Storage King at New Caney, TX a try. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and find a storage facility that actually cares about its customers and knows how to deliver a basic level of service. This place is a textbook example of how not to run a business. I feel sorry for ever is the owner of this piece of garbage.

We highly recommend Storage King USA in New Caney. Store manager Maddy has been wonderful to help us. She is kind and caring and truly cares about her customers. This facility is well maintained.

Do not rent a unit from this place, it’s a scam. They start off at $75 they don’t tell you nothing and add $12 for insurance then they raise the price 3 times in 2 months. After two months the unit that started at $75 is $130 and they use your stuff against knowing how hard it is to move it out and that’s not even it. The customer is the worst the lady in the front is a miserable piece of.. and they made a “mistake” and they put on you but they are happy overcharging you. This place is absolute garbage absolute scum. This place has 4.5 stars from their family members for sure no real customer has given more than a zero the one star is because zero is not an option and this is a real situation not fake I had 5 units there and took it out. Places that take advantage of people instead of people shouldn’t be supported by no one so you don’t succeed like you shouldn’t because the trash business. People only give you money out of desperation in their situation and you raise prices and use it against them because you hold their stuff and threaten to lock it from them and auction someone else stuff and make money out of their life collections and things. The lady at the front desk is not fired because her husband is the manager. Who ever owns this business because I know it’s not those incompetent people must be on the same level if they trust people like this to ruin your business because it’s not running anything well running it to the ground. $400 a month from one customer you could have probably stacked for years but instead you guys decided to to treat people like trash and I know front desk girl doesn’t care since she gets minimum wage and it’s not her money it’s affecting.

Go literally ANYWHERE else.
They’re predatory and will send threatening emails “early” yet don’t send billing statements in any way, shape or form. They said they send the threatening emails early as a “curtesy” to let us know we have money due to them. So something a BILL would do, but early and with threats that you’re locked out of your unit and from the premises for being apparently TWO DAYS LATE. Which I was unaware of because I’ve never received a single document since reserving my unit, let alone anything stating my due date, or a breakdown of my charges, etc.
They will make unauthorized charges.
Literally attempt a charge EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR TWO WEEKS UNTIL THEY GET THE PAYMENT THEY’RE AFTER. For a $12 insurance fee that they “forgot” to include in your initial payment.
After you reserve the online price, they’ll wait ONE MONTH and gouge your rate by nearly $20 with the excuse that everyone increases rates. I’ve had countless units throughout the country and never once had them switch the price on me.
They demand you clean your unit upon move out, yet rent out filthy units that you have to clean before you can even put your own stuff inside. The climate controlled units are INFESTED with countless insects at all times.
I have receipts and proof for everything I’ve mentioned if you’d like them.
Worst experience I’ve ever had and all within a 3 months timeframe. Absolute trash.

The recent flood damaged my items and the insurance they make you get doesn't cover flood damage (they dont even send you your coverage plan to tell you that). Don't do business here it's not protected.

Drive through units are pretty tight but it's a good safe place
