Been trying to call to talk to a pharmacist to send new prescription orders for a patient. Nobody is available all the time. How do they receive orders for patients if nobody is even available??? Other reviews are true! Very incompetent!

Fast, friendly service. The staff behind the counter was extremely knowledgeable and qualified to give advice. I was over the moon when they suggested a generic equivalent which ended up saving me quite a sizeable amount of cash. Thank you Walmart!!!

Not sure why this pharmacy is low rated. I moved to New Braunfels couple months ago and everytime I call or go to this location staff members are always nice and professional!

The incompetence is outstanding. The customer service, the lack of knowledge, the rudeness, it’s actually pretty frustrating. I get it, customer service sucks and it’s hard.. but when you’re dealing with medication and someone’s health - get your act together. It’s been four days since a prescription request was sent in, and they haven’t even received the okay to refill it. Four. Days. Four days of obviously not caring, two days of the medical assistant trying to get in touch with a pharmacy tech to get prescriptions refilled... and all I get when I call in to check is, well we haven’t gotten anything so I don’t know what to tell you. Tell me something better. Tell me you’re doing everything you can to get in touch with this doctor. It’s been two days of faxing. Has it ever occurred to anyone to, I don’t know, make sure you have the right fax number in case the doctor moved locations, or even god forbid, actually call the doctors office?Medications can keep patients out of hospitals, so all I can say to this staff is, shame on you. Shame on you for not doing better. This isn’t personal to you, this is your job, but it’s personal to the people it’s affecting. So do better.

Walmart pharmacy had the best price on my medication. The service by the pharmacist and pharmacy technicians was very efficient and pleasant. Highly recommend them!

I switched to Walmart Pharmacy from H-E-B because of poor customer service. At first, they were more than satisfactory. Lately, it's been a steady downhill trend. I had my Doctor send over three new prescriptions on Friday. On Monday, I called to schedule a pickup. No word from the doctor - turns out later that their fax machine (Walmart) was down for days and they did not get the prescription. Called today and was told two of three were available but the third required a doctor to fill the 90 day prescription (not a nurse or PA). They offered to fax another request to the doctor. At this point I just decided to cut my losses. A person can literally go without medication for a week while Walmart gets themselves sorted out. They may save you a few dollars but they sure don't provide adequate customer service. I left them.

I'm calling from a providers office and cannot even get through to call in a new prescription for my patient. The tech who answered the phone was rude and I've been on hold for over 15 minutes and counting. Obviously their time is much more valuable than mine. When your Doctor's office cannot even get through to your pharmacy...there is a problem!!!

So far it's taken over 36 hrs to get my medicine. They have it in stock just can't figure out how to dose it.

This is one of the most unorganized, ill managed pharmacies I have ever had the misfortune to patronize. Almost every time I fill an Rx there I receive a phone call that it's ready. I get there and it's not. Or worse they are out of stock which happens frequently AFTER they've messaged me saying it's ready. OR they have put it back in stock after only 2 days and they are supposed to wait 7. I rarely call in an Rx and go there and pick it up. Then when you get there and it's not ready, even though at times I've called ahead to make sure it is because this is a regular thing, they make me wait. I have to go to the back of the line. Then after waiting in the line twice, most of the time they tell me they don't know why I received a message it WAS ready b/c it's NOT. Then I have to wait in line 3 times! They are usually a little less expensive than other pharmacies since I don' have insurance which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 or 0. And the staff is usually very nice.

Yes this is a place to get everything you need, but the only downside is around 11 pm they want to close all the self check out and only have one cashier. When I see this going on, I walk out and go somewhere else. I'm not standing in a long line when theirs 3 management right there doing nothing. Lazy management employees!!!Sorry that's how I feel!!!
