“Evan was good to work with. He was polite and respectful when my wife was test driving cars but had to make a meeting on time. Overall the experience was slightly better than expected, which is good for any car dealership. We had a misunderstanding that extended the process by about an hour and a half, of which probably 25% was my own fault for being a little confused on the warranty stuff, which is needlessly and purposely confusing, so I put about 75% of that on them. But I did get a slightly lower percentage rate with their help, so that was nice. In all if you know exactly what you want and are aware of all the warranty and other packages they push I would expect you to spend 2 - 2.5 hours there. Because of the mixup the whole process took us about 4 hours, hence the 4 out of 5 stars. Has the potential to be as smooth of a process as buying a car could be, but there are definitely still hiccups and salesmanship.”

“Ease of purchase start to finish. One thing I hate is being hounded while trying to check out a vehicle. Didn’t find any of that here. I was given the keys no hassle for a test drive and at my own pace. The truck I was interested in was clean and presentable. In addition, Chris took the liberty of replacing the radio with a nice touchscreen radio and also added a backup camera based on a quick conversation we had in his lobby. I felt like I was listened to as I didn’t ask him for any of that. I believe I got a good truck for a decent price. A man of integrity for sure. “U-HAUL RENTAL...Feast or Famine - we got the 5-Star treatment: We are new to New Braunfels and needed a U-Haul. Checked all reviews and locations in area and went with CONTIGO Auto Sales. First impression was terrific. David called me back within 2 minutes of my leaving a message. He listened to my unique scheduling and truck size needs and provided me with the best option for me and my family.
I later needed to adjust the size of my truck and pick-up times - no issues and no "giving us a hard time". David was always very responsive and communicative - even texting me when the truck I needed was available earlier than I needed--which was a blessing. Truck was super clean and tires were brand new. A/C was working great, which as we all know if 100% necessary when moving.
David was very helpful even when I returned the truck. He charged exactly what we estimated. No bait & switch or gimmicks.
It's a VERY HUMBLE location, so hope others don't judge the book by its cover. I see several 5-Star reviews and then plenty of 1-Star reviews. As for U-Haul rental, I would say this is an excellent option and worthy of a better review rating for this business.”
