The repair arm of this shop comes across more as a second thought to make more money, and is treated as such. Don't expect your machine to receive any kind of baseline attention that is expected for your loved machines. My mother (career seamstress and quilter) has been waiting on an important fix that this location agreed to a 4-6 weeks for repair, it has been almost 16 and they are still not done. They have also tried up charging multiple times for repairs that should be included in the scope of what was agreed upon. I find the lack of respect for their customers atrocious and egregious. This place of business will never see another dollar from anywhere In my family and will forever receive scorn to my friends as well. You have done the opposite of make friends here.

I highly recommend sweet Ellen and her sister at the Quilt Haus, NB, TX! I had a lot of guidance and easily communicated my ideas with a knowledgeable professional! I trusted them with my husband's treasured Longhorn football quilt that was his Dad's letterman from when he played in `52-55. Full of holes and very delicate. I was amazed at how beautiful the restoration turned out- they really put extra effort into the precious item I brought them. Don't expect orders overnight- they're busy because they're great! Also the beautifully laid out store makes me want to learn to quilt!

If you sign up for a class and/or a Handi Quilter Event and you live 250 miles away make sure it is refundable. I left this morning to go the class the next day. A dog decided to run into my car and disabled it. I called and let them know what happened and to get a refund. Nope! It goes to the instructor and is non refundable. What a shame. Lost my business.

I cannot say enough about Quilt Haus, but especially Georgia, my sewing instructor. She has given me one of the best gifts, teaching me how to sew. I just finished sewing a dream dress of mine with her help. I cannot give this place enough stars. Also, Jessica who works there is super helpful and kind. Thank you Quilt Haus and Georgia. You changed my life with the sewing.

The ladies at the Quilt Haus went above and beyond to help us. They stayed late and showed so much patience and compassion for us during a difficult time. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and may God bless you and your business.

As a relatively new quilter located in the San Antonio area, I have now located and visited all of the quilting shops within a 300 mile radius. And there is only one store that I will never set foot in again; The Quilt Haus.My first visit was in October, 2020. I was excited to see it since it was one of the rare stores open on Sunday. I entered and although I could identify three employees and no visible customers, I was never greeted. One employee was standing near the door but never looked up from her task. As I slowly moved through the store to the back, looking at the fabrics, I was never acknowledged, however there was plenty of chatter between the employees. They loudly discussed one employee's lousy in-laws and all the associated family drama.I selected some clearance fabrics and brought the bolts to the cutting table. And the first words uttered to me on this first visit (after 20 minutes) were, "You know, there's a minimum 1 yard cut on our sale fabrics." Now that the ice was broken, I anticipated an easier time communicating with an employee, but it never happened. I browsed some more, paid for my fabrics and left without ever having even the slightest conversation.Three visits occurred after that, because I try not to form an opinion too soon, and I now regretfully report that the greetings and congenial conversation never once occurred. The employees on all four occasions were either "busy", having their own loud, non-business-related conversations, or in a very lousy mood. The store itself is large, and filled with lots of fabric choices. What leaves me cold about this is the eerie and ineffective florescent lighting from high above, and the uninspired presentation overall. It's simply bolts on shelves. No great displays of fabric collections to spark an idea, no interesting relics to hold notions, No fun. No Wow. Just fabrics bolts. Front to back. Which I interpret to be representative of the owner/employees' level of creativity and talent.Recently I attended my very first weekend quilting retreat. Lo and behold, it turns out that several others at that retreat had very similar experiences at The Quilt Haus and no longer shop there. They had lots of good things to say about other shops, but were adamant that The Quilt Haus was no longer a store they would shop in.So overall, a visit to The Quilt Haus, when compared to a visit to the many other fine quilt stores in this area, is not a pleasure. On all four occasions my visits were disappointing, surprisingly consistent in their lack of customer service, and simply as joyless as their employees. Note to Owner: No matter how much fabric inventory you sink your capital in, if your staff is rude, uncaring, and tempermental, you're throwing your good money away. I will continue to funnel my loads of quilting dollars to stores who are far more deserving.

Great establishments, found everything I was looking for. Staff very helpful, they will definitely take care of you in what you're looking for. I was also wondering what type of font they used on the outside. I want some of those too.
