I read carefully about the negative comments and most likely these people are rude or try to get something from the store in a mean way, cause I couldn’t believe myself that the owners or workers are the most kind people always smiling in your face and welcoming. Plus it’s a home town store when all people meet each others and sprayed only jokes and fun. Live bait is the best. Always pick up the phone and answer clients questions. Most of the time if someone stick in the back of the store because it’s only one worker and there is no one can get the minnows but him. So let’s be truthful. Rivercrest is the best…

This store is not consistent with providing kind customer service. It had been over 5 years since I had been to this store and yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of having to wait for shift 5-10 for him to return from sticking in the back, I’m assuming. Myself and the other customers had no idea what was going on as we waited for him to return. ??♀️ I would strongly suggest going to any of the other gas stations that are conveniently near by.

Got 3 dozen minnows this morning got to where I was gonna fish which isn’t far and more than half of them died and they won’t pick the phone up

The place smells like actual feces, and they have some less than ethical business practices: Have been charged different amounts for the same item on a few occasions, apparently prices vary wildly depending on who's working: It's always 50 cents here or a dollar there, never the amount that's actually listed (and yes, I am accounting for tax, they just have a bad habit of ripping off customers). It it weren't so close to my house I would no longer go there.

This is a great little establishment that I have been going to for over 13 yrs ever since I moved here from San Antonio great prices on everything under the sun you can find anything here and they always greet you with a smiling face and a hello and if you've been going as long as I have they are always willing and able to help in any way they can to make your experience better Danny and Mark are the very owners that make every stop worth while very kind and considerate always and Im very happy to know them. Their accomplishments speak for them selves from starting with this location adding the store down to the left and the many others they have accumulated over the years. I recommend this store 100%

Only place in town you can get live bait! When I say live, I mean minnows, gold fish, black saltys and if course a selection of worms!

I rented a Keg from them. I asked when it needed to be returned and the staff said Whenever you are done with it. I had a small get together and we did not use very much of the Keg, I had a Kegarator so I left it in there and used it as much as I could. 3 weeks later I return the Keg to get my 120 dollar deposit back, and they say they already wrote off my deposit because I took to long. When the store clerk calls the owner to explain the problem the owner instructs him to only give me 75 back or I can keep the equipment. Buyers BE Ware ! When they tell you to bring it back whenever you are done, that means within a week or you LOOSE your deposit. Very Bad Business Practice. I own a local car business near by to them and the clerk then tries to explain to me "would you let someone take a car and just bring it back in 3 weeks"? I then say of course not but the situation is completely different. They take your money and then laugh at you. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS
