If you live in the New Braunfels community and are in need of food (or know anyone in need of food ). The New Braunfels Food Bank could help you in your time of emergency. It is quite busy and you do need to do some paperwork wich can be done on line. It is important to know that you must schedule a appointment before you go in. Just call and they can set you up. They are very nice and will help you with any information needed.

Everyone needs a little help sometimes. God bless places and the people that contribute like this to the community. Every town and city needs something like this, especially in these times. Thank you!

My experiences here have literally been life changing for the best... My GED, the instructors, the best of the best (and beautiful ?), the people at the food bank are way above above the human norm (what humanity became after covid is sad)!! God is pleased. People are treated with the utmost respect with any of the various resources available to them.Help is provided without question.PLEASE DON'T BE THE KIND OF PEOPLE THAT DON'T NEED THESE RESOURCES BUT GO BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO SPEND MONEY!!I'VE SEEN THESE USING THE FOOD AT SALES BOOTHS FOR CARNIVALS OR THINGS SUCH AS. GOD CURSE YOU!!As for the truly in trouble and the needful, it helps greatly to call NBFB ahead to schedule instead of just showing up. They'd greatly appreciate that.God Bless ?

I'm not one to complain about that which is free, but I feel obligated to tell the public that their new mode of operation, which used to be taking effort to maximize availability and accessibility has changed to the opposite. My monthly pantry date has been the 15th each month for a while now, but this month I go in and they're closed, no appointment, so they set me one for the 21st, I ask about the pop up distribution at tree of life, they tell me it's the 23rd, don't tell me about the one at Santiago on the 20th, then when I go for my appt. Today, it's actually not today, but elegidly on Oct. 3 now, and the tree of life pop up was actually this morning, ending 2 hours ago, and the appt. They gave me for today doesn't exist and the pantry is closed today. So I don't get food this month. And next month, all pop ups are off, and the monthly schedule is no longer available on- line. I know it's free, and a blessing, but I'm wasting valuable time and fuel, and trying to plan meals and shopping around a run-around that got my family no food at all this month

Everyone was very Pleasant and the staff was very efficient everyone worked in unison very quickly to get me in and out of the food bank when I needed help they were very informative gave me all of my options and let me know what days are the best days for me to come. I appreciate the food bank more than you'll ever know sometimes everyone needs a little help and even if it's all the time if you have children or your elderly are you have a lot of children it doesn't matter they'll help everyone that walks through their doors. Thank you New Braunfels Food Bank for everything you've done for me and my family!

I’ve been trying to call the food bank in New Braunfles since Thursday to make an appointment. I finally got through when calling the person who answered was name Alice and she got upset because I tried to tell her how unprofessional it is not to return calls She then told me I should find somewhere else to go In San Antonio instead of New Braunfles!!!!! I appreciate everything the Food Banks do for the community but when you call and get disrespected that is totally unacceptable. Its already embarrassing to have to asked for help because you can’t afford to buy Groceries then to get disrespected like I did !!!!!!
