A multitude of screwups including almost injecting me with a drug to make my heart race for a stress test which the doc never ordered! Finally left after 2 years to work with a professional cardiologist and efficient staff.

The technicians Amber and Hailey were great. It was obvious that they enjoyed their jobs. They were accommodating, happy and professional. Thank you so much. ??

Stay away. This practice is a revenue machine, not a people caring machine. I was in the ER and admitted to the hospital. A cardiologist from this firm visits my room and tells me to make an appointment to see him (he’s the business development guy). when you make an appointment you see someone else who spends 6 minutes with you and tells you to schedule a test to be taken within 2 weeks. But the scheduler schedules it for 6 weeks out. I go back to the doctor’s office and the nurse says “just keep taking the meds, you’ll be all right.” I tell my primary care physician and she says this is totally unacceptable and tries to reschedule it. No success. The day before my test, 6 weeks later, the office calls to reschedule because my insurance approval is “pending”. I call the insurance office and they told me New Braunfels Cardiology started the pre-certification process too late. They had 6 weeks to do this! If you look at the other reviews you see consistent one-star messages about the same thing. That’s because they don’t read or care about you or reviews. Folks, this is an uncaring cardiology office. I went somewhere else.

My 88 year old mother WAS seeing Dr Farra until recently. This office is now in partnership with Baptist Healthcare which does not accept Medicare, we found out today the hard way, after showing up for her appointment. They could have told us this @ last appointment a month ago. Dr Farra’s care was mediocre but mom liked him. Mom has an extraordinary case of edema due to A-fib, and he wouldn’t look or examine her condition unless I suggested he do so. Maybe it’s just the way things are these days but I hope to find a more caring cardiologist for her going forward. It really sux getting put out on the curb at nearly 90 years old to fend for yourself without notice.

Extremely rude staff. They cut you off. Speak down to you. They speak to you like you have the audacity to take up their time. We are going to drive to Austin for my husband’s surgery to avoid such belittling treatment.

There computers frequently go down they don’t answer your call and they don’t call you back. If something is critical it’s Cardiology . They should have a working computer system. Unacceptable.

For your own good health find a different office. The staff is inept unprofessional and put patients lives at risk because they will not return phone calls at all.....especially if you have problems with one of their pieces of equipment like a heart monitor ......they just ignore you. 2 heart monitors neither one would work. I should have been done with this in five days it's been a month because they wouldn't call me back for a week and I still don't have a decent heart monitor. I will be finding a new cardiologist. The only call they will make to you is multiple collection calls to make sure you pay the money they need before your appointment. They'll text and call you until you pay your bill. But don't expect any calls back concerning your care they only want your money.

Horrifying treatment. I seriously though I was in Russia. They let me leave with 237 blood pressure. The worse part was the thick needle 2 ladies tried sticking in the arm.

No patient should EVER be treated as a second rate citizen. Staff is awful, and when things dont go the drs way, they WILL yell at the patient, like its their fault. If you happen to catch the receptionist laugh when asked to speak to office management, that just adds to the frustration. They are not the only cardiologists in town, do your research....its your heart!
