I went one night after work a year ago and I had a nice conversation with the woman who I think was the owner. I will say the prices were a little much even on the cheap stuff, but besides that it was a great experience! Good selection and the store looks really nice.

This use to be a quality place… When they first opened their employees were trained and could have a conversation about each product, now they are out of half their coffee tea products and the employees leave the store within the first 45 minutes of them being opened and stay gone for 15 mins while customers have to wait on them to return… completely unprofessional. It’s a shame because I didn’t mind paying more to see a local business succeed, but now I recommend specs for beer, wine, and cigars as they have better selections and better service. Texan Tea for tea. Gruene Coffee Haus for coffees… such an awful shame

Well not only was the staff minimalist for conversation, greetings etc but it was the worst job anyone has ever done on a latte. The to-go cup was almost too hot to handle, the coffee burned my tougue and the milk was not frothed. Skip the coffee here is my recommendation.

Wow.. Sydney, you're a little out of line. I understand if you had a bad experience, but directly insulting someone based on their physical uniqueness is out of line. It's definitely not cool in a Yelp review. Grow up. Leaf & Barrel is a good spot & smells AMAZING. I've had the pleasure of meeting the employee who Sydney mentioned, and she's sweet! Laws are laws, and under the TABC LAWS in TEXAS, a picture of an ID is not acceptable. Be well prepared to show your actual ID y'all

The worst customer service ever. Asked for assistance finding three refrigerated beers. Rude employee stated your wearing glasses so find it yourself. Not sure why such a beautiful and unique store would hire such a young, rude, lazy child to work in their store. So no purchase was made.

Been buying the same cigars at this place for a couple years. 1 tin of 10 Cubanitos cost roughly $31. Stopped today for a tin and was quoted $42.50. Ill go back to ordering from Fox Cigars, the same EXACT tin of cigars is $21.99 with free shipping. For that difference in price, i can plan ahead.

This place is really great except for the past two Friday evenings that I have been there to pick up some wine there is a sign on the door that said "Be back in a moment." The first time I waited for 25 minutes and the second time 5 minutes. It was right around dinner time both times (6 - 8 pm). The second time, the business lost 4 customers. I'm not sure what is going on, but I just drove by again and the sign is up...it's 4:30.

Excellent service.I asked for a particular cigar, they didn't have it. I was offered to get on a request list, and the owner actually called me personally about a popular alternative.That level of dedication is pretty rare these days.

Cheap cigars for a premium price. Out of most coffee and tea options most of the time. Employees have zero knowledge of the products they are trying to sell.

As much as I love seeing cigar places like this thrive, the reason for a 1star is the employee was talking loud on his phone to who I'm going to say wasn't a customer. Instead of offering assistance, making sales or sharing any knowledge about the different beers, wines, or cigars, he felt his conversation about basketball was more important than helping a customer. Hopefully management will teach their employees better.

I pass this place all the time on my commute. Stopped by on a whim the other day and was blown away. Love the craft beer selection (although more stouts are always welcome!). The Weathered Souls offerings in particular were top notch. Will be stopping by more frequently!

I am new to the area and wanted to check this place out and grab a dry cappuccino after pizza yesterday, Monday October 18th around 7pm. I was unenthusiastically greeted by a girl who acted as if I was bothering her by coming into get coffee. I was asking her questions about the place and what they had and she was incredibly rude and continue to answer my questions with one word answers. No smile ever came across her face and she really made me feel uncomfortable as I was just trying to get some information about the store. My family is really big on cigars /coffee/ whiskey and I was very disappointed in the customer service or lack of customer service. I decided to push through and continue with ordering a coffee and when I asked her for a dry cappuccino she proceeded to roll her eyes and told me she didn't know how to make it and asked me what a dry cappuccino was. When I asked her "isn't this a coffee place?" she said "I don't know how to make the coffee I just push the buttons". As somebody that has been a barista and worked at a coffee shop I tried to explain to her how to make it and she just increasingly became annoyed with me. I decided to scratch the dry cappuccino just ordered a double shot of espresso which was awful by the way. As I continued to try to make small talk it was very apparent that I was not welcome there. I even asked her if she wasn't having a good day because of the way I was being treated. As I was paying, I asked her if there was a place that I could leave a review for the store she looked me dead in my eyes and said no. I confusingly asked her, " oh you don't have a Yelp?" She straight up told me no. As somebody that has worked in customer service I have got to say this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I would never treat a customer the way that I was treated. I just hope that the owners can see this and know what goes on in their store when they're not there because if I was the owner of the store I would want to know about one of my employees making people feel very uncomfortable And not being helpful at all. I made several attempts to try to turn this experience around and give her the opportunity to create a pleasant experience for me but she just acted like I was interrupting her day of sitting on the stool behind the counter. Customer service was awful coffee was awful she didn't even know how to make a dry cappuccino. If I were you I would steer clear of this place it's not worth it.
